Honestly, I feel like if they leaned more into the crazy throughout the entirety of the movie or at least slightly hinted at it near the beginning a bit more. Fine if I had to press the button I'd canonize any movie that had a Canon character in it but the movie itself was not in Canon. So essentially strong world and film red would be canon. It always bugs me that these characters Shiki and UTA were both can and characters but the movies themselves were not. I'd actually argue that not including hakI does it really make it fair, for instance haki isn't integral part of the one piece series that's like telling Naruto fans that they can't use chakra since one piece characters can't use chakra.

Has someone who just watches one piece cuz it appeals to what I like about a series, I can't help but think that power scaling rules are kind of off cuz they take away and restrict certain powers but don't do the same to an equal extent to other series.

Homies aren't really affected by devil fruit Powers at all as seen when Luffy tries to use hockey to beat up Prometheus and having no effect so I do not believe Blackbeard nullifying big mom's devil fruit power would have any effect on homies as it appears that homies become their own entities outside of the devil fruit user.

Ask for the gear third question realistically that should happen but in all reality I believe that it was just forcefully reset Luffy to where he doesn't have any of the effects of Gear three.
