Good choices aside from Ace and Sabo imo

@SlendVeny3 the difference is that Mihawk being the world's greatest swordsman meant that the other Warlords were very strong but maybe not as strong as him. So when we meet Crocodile, we know he's a massive threat because he's a Warlord but him being weaker than Mihawk made sense because Mihawk has the title of world's greatest swordsman.

The problem here is that as a Vice Admiral, Garp should be wayyy stronger and so when we eventually see Smoker give Luffy a harder time, it's gonna lead to untrue speculations of Garp's strength by people who've only watched the live action. Now I normally don't really care about strength in OP, but Garp is not only strong, he's stronger than all the other Vice Admirals, maybe just slightly below the Admirals bcuz of his age. So for him to not obliterate Luffy's crew when they were in East Blue

It's kinda like if they had made Mihawk and Luffy fight in Baratie, Luffy fights to a draw or beats Mihawk then we go to Alabasta and the Live Action has to make it seem that Crocodile is still weaker than Mihawk but stronger than Luffy somehow

Ok I finished it and imma give it a 7/7.5 because although I still find the Marine side of things atrocious cuz I don't know what they are gonna do if and when we reach Enemies Lobby. My opinion has changed with the last 4 episodes just because there are some scenes that gave me goosebumps like Zoro's promise to Luffy, Nami's "help me, Luffy" scene and Sanji's character trait of being a simp is done soooo much better. I like it so it bumps it up to 7.5.

Personally everyone's fights are awesome aside from Luffy's which usually doesn't have much variation. It's till very good, just not as good as Zoro, Sanji or even Nami's. Also I he exclusion of Hachi is very annoying cuz he's actually a vital part in Sabaody. I feel like Luffy punching a Celestial Dragon won't have as much impact without Hachi being seen here as a villain here first to becoming a friend that Luffy puts everything on the line for. But yh, pretty good overall.. I haven't watched that many live actions cuz ppl always said they were bad so I didn't bother but I would say that this one was very good, just the story parts they excluded are bad decisions for if they continue with more seasons hereafter.

@Flavourgasted jus read the entire SBS. Nowhere does it say outright that Luffy is straight.

@FusionSpell bro I literally just posted this lol. The decision to show Koby's side of things was good but having them chase Luffy right now is so frustrating and annoying. It's a 6 for me rn but I'm not done yet.

And for everyone else, I ain't tryna bash on opinions and I love One Piece (my no. 1 anime/manga) but the live action is by no means perfection. Maybe better than most anime live actions, but not perfect

Afro Luffy is goated cuz it was funny in such a bad arc whilst water Luffy (whilst still funny) was slightly annoying in an amazing serious arc and fight

I mean it depends on what u mean. If they did that, I think Crocodile would still be the first guy who Luffy evidently defeats. The second one if it was Boa would be beneficial cuz if everything went the same way it did, then although the straw hats would prolly lose they would prolly learn haki earlier if Boa fell in love w him. After that I think that Moria would be easy. I don't think Mihawk would be a villain cuz if Baratie still happened then Mihawk would only be interested in Zoro and would not fight him before he thought he was ready so that could be a training arc where they fought against those apes for training but they would prolly die against Doffy. Idk how they'd handle Kuma. Actually if all of them are the antagonists of sagas then i see the straw hats winning aside from against Mihawk

I mean the verse might be weaker but that's not y the wounds are more devastating. Oda has always been goofy with injuries and that's jus how One Piece works. It doesn't make the verse stronger than any which has realistic portrayals of injuries

Cuz u can't measure how they are in relation to each other. Like the verses are different so it's hard to compare. For example, in One Piece Zoro gets slashed basically in half by Mihawk and recovers from that whilst in Demon Slayer, that would be fatal as hell. Ppl regrow teeth drinking in one piece and recover from deadly injuries by eating whilst in Demon Slayer, most wounds are more realistic. Trying to power scale is soo hard that it's either up to speculation or you need a Death Battle or Swagkage type of power scaling at which point, it's like who cares that much

Yh my theory is that the reason why Shanks goes to the Goa Kingdom right after getting Luffy is cuz he knew Roger's son was there so he brought it to give to him since obviously the Roger Pirates had been too early in arriving to Laughtale so his conclusion was probably that Roger's will would be fulfilled by his son. This theory obviously uses a lot of speculation so don't take it too seriously

Exactly. Like I normally like Ace but I feel like I like him mostly cuz of his death and how it affected Luffy which was so impactful but he wasn't that good. I also think it's weird that ppl have him as their fav character cuz every time we saw him in the story, there was nothing about him that made him better, cooler or anything like that above most of the others but ig it impacted other ppl more.

I think Shanks knowing is irrelevant but he most prolly knows. If he doesn't, it has been said that the DF has been escaping the WG for centuries so either way the WG ship wouldn't have delivered it back cuz it would have found a way to escape. If Shanks knew but didn't eat it, it prolly means that he was gonna give it to Ace (one of my theories) but Luffy ate it first

1. If a logia touches water, their ability is jus cancelled unless it's like aokigi or something similar.

2. Fire is not tangible to haki users, just that haki allows ppl to bypass the logia reflex

3. Df users are weak to liquids that go above their waste, so no. But i think seawater probably has the strongest effect

Stop doing these inter-anime matchups cuz they mean very little and are very hard to do since the worlds are different

I guess it depends on what you're looking for but they are not on the same lvl
