There's a reason why Oda didn't have Jimbei join the crew until after Dressrosa. Jimbei wins, high diff.

Bonney currently has the best chances in my opinion. She fits nearly every prerequisite and has the most narrative momenteum pointing towards that outcome. The only thing she needs left is to solidify her role in the crew.

For Luffy, I'll go with the popular idea of him eating the Mother Flame. Luffy has huge stamina issues while in Gear 5 and being powered by the Mother Flame will more than compensate for it. Additionally, what if Luffy were to fulfill one of Vegapunk's dreams by connecting his mind with everyone else's using Punk Records? This way, Luffy can draw on the imagination of the entire population of the Blue Planet.

For Zoro, I really like the idea that once he turns his swords into black blades, they can awaken a power akin to Bankai from Bleach. After all, the way Kozabaro described the art of sword crafting sounded pretty similar to how Vegapunk theorizes Devil Fruit were created.

For Nami, I think she just needs to gain better profiency in using Zeus. Although Zeus is bound to her Clima-Tact, he was able to regain his cloud form by possessing the clouds Nami created. This means Zeus could possess any type of weather phenomena Nami makes including wind, fire, snow, bubbles, etc.

For Usopp, I think having a homie bind itself to his Kabuto just like Zeus was bound to Nami's Clima-Tact is perfect. Homies can manipulate whatever they possess in any way they want. This means Usopp's Kabuto can be turned into a hammer as well as alter its size, weight, and its trajectory (meaning it can return to Usopp when thrown like Mjolnir). The homie may also be able to produce any Pop Green Usopp wants, giving Usopp unlimited ammo and allowing him to create an even wider variety of them. I think the homie Usopp will gain will be Mother Carmel's sun homie Pandora, which should still be on or near Elbaf.

For Sanji, instead of going the black flames Surtr Jambe route many do, what if Sanji's fire intensity grows to the point that he can produce magma. This can be used to create magma constructs like King or coat himself in magma to create a transformation like Kaidou. I think if Sanji does the latter option, the creature he transforms into would be a Garuda (also known as the sunbird), the bird represented on the Vinsmoke family crest.

Honestly, Marco would've become a Yonko if he managed to win the Payback War.

How is Kaidou, the World's Strongest Creature, not on the list?

Yes but actually no. Reincarnation doesn't work like that in the One Piece world as far as we know. However, since he's managed to awaken Joyboy's fruit, he's essentially the "second coming of Joyboy." It's less like traditional reincarnation and more like a very potent version of inherited will.

Maybe because Lucci got stronger? It's not a difficult conclusion to come to.

I feel like more people downplay Kaido more than overrated him.

Saturn says the race is extinct so I doubt Blackbeard's a Bucanneer. Whitebeard might've been one, though.
