I didn't miss the last panel the black lightning in the attack to me indicated only that he used CoA (attacks with CoA also have black lightning) and maybe CoC, but it wasn't a certainty, at least to me.

Being Roger's rival doesn't confirm him as a CoC user.

That said, I did some research and found something that confirms to ME that he has CoC and it isn't the last panel but the penultimate panel, in this panel there is an onomatopoeia present only in CoC imbued attacks.

Not even when a CoA-only attack releases black lightning the onomatopoeia appears, showing that I was wrong in saying that chapter 1080 doesn't confirm Garp as a CoC user.

@Alpha Mercenary I have read the manga (1080) and found nothing that confirms that he has the CoC.

@SkywalkerTC When I think of swordsmen I don't think of characters who follow some ethics and/or rule in a duel, I consider a pure swordsman (pure swordsman is a much better term than true swordsman) characters who use only sword techniques an example is Cavendish/Hakuba who, although he doesn't follow dueling rules or ethics, is still a pure swordsman since he uses only sword techniques.

@Bússolavertical Are different things, swordsmen like Zoro use external powers (fire, petals, Haki, electricity) to increase the sword's power, but they still only use sword techniques, which is different from swordsmen like Law who use swordsmanship to increase external powers, but are not limited to just sword techniques , Law for example has techniques like Takt, Mes, Shambles, Counter Shock, Curtain and Gamma Knife that don't need his sword only his DF.

I consider a "true swordsman" characters like Zoro, Mihawk and Vista, who have all their fighting style based on their swordsmanship, Meanwhile, Law has his fighting style based on his Devil Fruit. So for me, Law isn't a true swordsman.

Among the Strawhats only Luffy has a chance, considering he has a answer to ALMOST everything Goku can do, the others wouldn't make any difference. I would say that out of 10 battles the Strawhats (And by Strawhats I only mean Luffy) would win 1

Chapter 1071 Spoiler Alert

I think it's easier for BB to kill Garp instead of Shanks, since he's already going to face BB, and it would be perfect to establish (even more) BB as the final villain by making him kill (or hurt a lot) one of the few who could clash with Roger and Garp being Luffy's grandfather makes it more interesting, this would be a good ending for Garp who already doesn't have much to show us.
