what Kaido sensed was only that Zoro was an HDR holder.

what Zoro did was a really big attack with HDA nothing more.
he had already hurt Kaido earlier while saving Luffy and also pushed Kaido to dodge.
an Ashura with full HDR would leave a mark comparable to that of Oden I think
a very big injury but one that would also leave Zoro exhausted.
with that kind of power it is possible to slice through King's flames even when turned into magma. for now the mugis aren't going all the way so they're getting tired for nothing.
