@Tazdidiscool Well, Shirahoshi being an ancient weapon that’s one thing, especially Luffy as Joy Boy with the Power of the Sun God himself and Vivi as Lili’s descendant. But Blackbeard on the other hand, my guess is probably to absorb his powers.

To tell you the truth, Hito-hito no mi model Nika is indeed a legendary Devil Fruit. I don't know why the World Government wanted that Devil Fruit, but I think they wanted to keep it locked up to keep anyone from having it and be able to rise up against and exposing the truth of the World Government.
