You know the routine by now… spoilers
The cover story with Germa in WCI keeps getting better! We find out that Niji & Yonji are captured because they got defeated by Big Mom herself which is pretty nuts! It could possibly end up being the best cover story ever ?
So we continue back to the current fight of Kidd & Law vs Big Mom, and surprisingly Big Mom is not out of it yet. She tanked the Damned Punk & attempted to take their souls but Kidd & Law didn’t show not one ounce of being scared! Law stole the show in this chapter though, by using R•Room which is a homage to the great Corazon 😭 now you can’t hear nothing Big Mom is saying so she can’t command her homies to save her or even be able to heal her wounds. Kidd then hits her with another Damned Punk, Law cuts up Misery & Big Mom is now on her way down the huge hole Law created last chapter with his Puncture Wille! The dialogue with Big Mom is crazy, with her putting all the blame on Pirate King Gol D. Roger for sparking up the new age of Pirates & having the Worst Generation come into the scene (sore loser if you ask me 😂). Big Mom then falls into the armory room where Yamato has all the frozen bombs & Yamato did not hear her fall at all so she was surprised to see Big Mom there & Big Mom actually set off one of the bombs but Yamato ends up freezing the rest before they explode. Another interesting panel is that we see Robin & Brook still on the run, Zoro seems to be falling off Onigashima & he’s completely knocked out, our boy Raizo finally beat Fukurokuju & Hiyori is still with Orochi. Big Mom finally lands on the huge crater in Wano & the bombs from the armory room followed her & she gets blown up in the crater. And we finally get the results of the fight:
Emperor of the Sea, Big Mom vs The New Generation; Battle of the Performance Floor under the Dome… Winner… Eustass “Captain” Kid & “Surgeon of Death” Trafalgar Law!!!!!
This was easily one of the best fights for me & I’m just very happy our boys defeated a Yonkou. They did the impossible for most fans… but the ending of the chapter is basically the biggest reveal in possibly a while & most have predicted already, but Zunesha is Joy Boy’s companion & he committed a crime 800 years ago which led to him being punished!! Some crazy shit indeed….
This chapter is easily a 10/10 for me. Loved the end of the fight, the fact we got updates on others, & also the ending which had the insane reveal! Too bad we have a break next week now 😭
