I prefer the original design, but it looked great in the live-action show.
Either Usopp or Franky.
The remake is expected to fix the pacing issues of the original anime, so it won't last as long as it did.
Luffy wouldn't do that. The hat means so much to him, why would he lock it away?
He'd definitely be surprised if he learned that the hat used to belong to Roger.
I know, but he became more of a threat as the plot progressed.
Luffy was too much of a threat to the World Government for them to give him Warlord status.
And even if they did hypothetically offer him the position, Luffy would have turned it down, likely for the same reasons that Ace turned down his offer.
You might be right, but I think that if he did team up Akainu, it would be as a last resort.
Because Luffy definitely has a lot of enmity and hated for him because of what he did to Ace.
Why would Luffy team up with the man who killed his brother?!
^And Uta.
@Liam667 That's not embarrassing at all. Good storytelling can provoke heavy emotions in the audience.
There's a reason why people teared up at the Going Merry's funeral and other moments like that.
I'd make G8, Baron Omatsuri, Strong World, Film Red and Ace's extended role in Alabasta canon.
It's really good. It doesn't follow the original story verbatim, but does maintain it's sprit.
For shipping, Ace and Yaomato, low-key.
For platonic relationships, Chopper and Robin.
Sanji. I don't hate him, but I hate how flanderized the ladies' man aspect of his character became post-timeskip. Whole Cake was definitely able to repair his character, but the damage never fully went away.
A great and very intense arc. A part of me wishes Ace didn't die even though I'm fully aware of the narrative purpose his death served.
I don't like them as much as other fans do, but Law is more interesting than Kid.
Honestly, I dislike the "Shanks is secretly evil" theories.
If you are willing to commit to it, yes.
I honestly think it would make a lot of sense if this happened.
Akainu, but that doesn't mean I like him.
