Hello everyone! I'm sorry that the Fruit Making Contests haven't been coming out, but my feelings can be best described as:
"Without Batman, crime has no punchline..."
My favorite contestant, @L725 , has been unable to participate in the previous contests, and without him there to blow me away and with the lack of contestants, I simply don't have the motivation. Thus, I simply have to wait whilst I work on other stuff. Good luck on exams, pal! Godspeed!

Akihiko Ren, User of the Shika Shika no Mi, Model: Wendigo
Backstory:
Ren was a normal teenage girl on a small island, small enough for everyone to know each other. She was a famously sweet girl among the people living there, oftentimes going out of her way to help out. An old appraiser also lived there, now long dead. Ren especially loved hanging out around his antique store, hearing the stories of how he had found each and every one. This inspired in her an urge to explore the world, wanting to see what just might be out there. One day, he left for months and came back an injured, sick man, but he had in his possession a strange box. The box contained a black fruit with swirls adorning its skin and horns, a white skull-like pattern forming out of white swirls on the fruit's surface. He confided its existence solely in Ren and her parents, as he trusted her to keep it safe and he couldn't bring himself to lie to her about coming back empty handed. Regardless of his condition, the way his eyes lit up when describing how rare the fruit was resonated with Ren. She would never, ever allow it to be taken.
However, not all good things can last forever. A group of pirates showed up one day at the dock of the island, demanding that the "Shika Shika no Mi" be handed over to them at once. When denied the fruit by the incredibly ballsy old man, the pirates brandished their cannons not at the man, but at the town. The man was forced to timidly fetch the fruit. By the time that he got back, almost everyone had noticed the massive cannon ships, forming a crowd around the pirates. This crowd included Ren. The old man then presented them with the fruit. Ren saw the sadness in the man's eyes and could hardly stand it. The pirates then put a gun to the man's head as he hesitated, resulting in him crying as he slowly brought the fruit's box closer and closer. It was at this point that Ren made what was simultaneously the best and worst mistake of her life, running at the pirates, grabbing the fruit, and shoving it into her mouth before they could take it.
She despised the taste, and choked down as much as she could before she couldn't take the taste any more, spitting out the rest. The skin of the fruit shriveled up and turned grey before crumbling to dust, which the girl looked at terrified. Her body began shifting, growing taller. Her head began to pound as she could see her shadow grow larger deer antlers. Her skin began to toughen, becoming pure, pitch black. Her mind began to fade out as she began to feel it. Pure, unadulterated hunger, and the horrified looks of the pirates and the townsfolk as her vision turned black.
When she awoke, Ren was in the middle of her town with her head submerged in the fountain. She quickly pulled her head out of the fountain, looking around her to find anyone, but they were all gone, other than the old man, facing her with a weapon.

In this contest, there are a few special rules. I'll be pinging @L725 , since this will be one of few contests that allows for repeat winners! Also, despite the name of the contest at large, creating an original fruit will be completely optional (though it will score you some more brownie points). Instead, I want to see a backstory for a user of the devil fruit. I myself will be bringing one of my own original creations into this as a competitor, as this is a bonus challenge! It would depend on whether or not I had a powerful devil fruit. If I ruled everything and everyone with a powerful fruit, I could bring about more good with my iron fist.

Hello everyone, and congratulations to @Commander Linus for winning the previous competition! This one will be very interesting, the this competition is:
MULTI-TYPE FIGHT!
We see a few examples of Multi-Type fruits, but the only one that comes to mind is the Mythical Zoan fruit known as the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix. Most of the time, "Multi-Type" fruits have classifications, but the specifics of what the fruit can do can be considered abilities from other classes. For example, the Tori Tori no Mi, Model Phoenix allows the user to turn into a flaming bird, which covers Zoan, they have immunity to all non-haki attacks and are made of fire, which covers Logia, and these flames can heal people, which covers Paramecia. This one'll definitely be interesting, so good luck! And, as always:
