It isn’t about reincarnations. Just showcasing that he wasn’t blessed with talent which was confirmed by God himself and even self admitted by Naruto.

You think he had all those powerful techniques right after eating the fruit or did he experiment new moves and hone them until it got to this level. You’re also forgetting about him mastering Haki at a super fast rate

Lastly, the point of Naruto’s character is that he's a slow learner which is why he’s jealous of Sasuke who is great at everything. The sage of six paths even had to remind us that he’s a dunce who didn’t inherit any of his parents' talents like Asura

Yes, he's way talented since he’s a much faster learner as he mastered every haki and came up with new moves on his own at the same time it took Naruto to get the basics down.

His fruit abilities were nothing to speak of when he first ate it but he made them as powerful as they are now today cause he put more effort and creativity than Naruto did in his whole ninja career.

Without his chakra slave there to supply him, Naruto would remain as a hopeless bottom feeder with delusions of grandeur.

@Tazdidiscool I’m talking about how much they improved from their training blud. Rubber boy came back with a new stronger gear and mastered three forms of Haki. What did whiskers learn in that 2.5 years? All he could do was make a bigger Rasengan (still needed a shadow clone to assist) and that’s about it

I’m just curious as to why Luffy could make more progress than Naruto in 2 years. Does it ultimately come down to talent or having a good teacher? Maybe it’s both but who knows
