It is a devil fruit based of the deity not a character

I think that when it becomes beast and hybrid forms, the den den daiko drums could emit and channel lightning for attacks, like the death star cannon. also when the user bangs these drums they do something that affects the environment, like shock waves or tornadoes. an awakened version could cause an endless storm or hurricane with the user at its centre, and lightning could act like extensions of the user, for example hands or spears.

Am I really that good? Atlas seems on par, they even included the techniques, I just create the concepts of my fruit and let others come up with them.

For the lore I got arlecchino from genshin because it sounded royal and meant the jester, Lilith was from the Eden stories and the first woman in some texts who didn't listen to Adam. I chose Raijin randomly because the battle could explain the constant lightning.

Its not your fault dotuby, sometimes people are busy and don't get it on time based on external factors and other thing. In my opinion, this competition was a good idea and allowed people to do some creative writing.

Distort Distort fruit (Hizumi Hizumi no Mi)

• Lore and Owners

During the Void Century, the Distortion fruit was once owned by the matriarch of the Arlecchino family, Arlecchino Lilith, a member of the First Twenty who would later found the World Government. After a battle near what is now known as Raijin Island, Lilith was mortally wounded by Joyboy. As the sea rose upon the battlefield, Lilith used a fruit and transferred her devil fruit into it, holding on to it until her corpse was pulled to the sea floor. During Roger’s journey across the Grand Line (before he reached Laugh Tale or the New World) the Distort Distort fruit washed on the shoals of an island in the West Blue that was under the thumb of the cruelest of the Five Families of The West, where it was found by one Belial Darwin, A child who inherited the debt of his parent. After he ate the fruit, he became a child soldier for the mob, keeping citizens in line and eliminating those who do. During this time, he was looked after by Rose D. Martha and her son Rose D. Gabriel, unwilling servants of the mob, who helped train his devil fruit mastery against the Family to free the townsfolk. After a horrible shootout in the town square, Martha was shot and killed by the son of the gang’s leader. After this event and all the traumatic things that happened throughout his life, Darwin awakened his devil fruit after realising that his life was meaningless. Using his new found power he erased the island from existence and began his mission to rule the world so as to end suffering, renaming himself to Alastair “D” Lucifer (he not a D, it’s just his first name. Also Gabriel is not dead and blames him for killing his mom). After killing multiple vice-admirals and even an admiral, he gained a bounty of 4,999,666,000 Berī. It took the combined might of Garp, Roger, Whitebeard, and Kong to defeat him, in which was sent to level 6 of Impel Down. He broke 10 years later and hasn’t been seen since.

• Abilities and Awakening

The Distort Distort fruit or Hizumi Hizumi no Mi is a special Paramecia that allows the user to distort reality at will. Basically it allows you to warp reality and mold it into whatever you want. Examples include warping mountains to jelly, turn Luffy into a rubber band, and bend the minds of those less than you. If someone were to try and punch you, their fist would bend around you or you would bend around it, similar to a black hole. Weaknesses are the standard devil fruit weaknesses, but with a unique one: if the enemy that has been warped by you has strong enough haki, they can reverse the distortion and return to normal, as well as solidify the user of the fruit to deal damage to them. When the fruit awakens, the user gains abilities comparable to gods, being able to distort not only their surroundings but the very concepts and fabric that make up reality. Abilities like twisting the history of the world, effectively being able to erase the idea of the Void Century, bend time so the user can so against the flow of time, allowing time travel, also a power so broken i need to explain it or else no one will get it.

Imagine space in a sheet of paper and the flow of time is the line passing through it, the past being the first half, present being a line of dot in the centre of the paper on said line, and the future is the second half. The fruit allow the user to fold the paper in small way, like folding the present to a point in the past or future, creating a time loop, to be able to fold the paper to such a degree that you turn the timeline cyclical (basically that one Futurama episode) or merge the past the present together so the that the past and future happens at once (like the movie Tenet).

Which is pretty terrifying to think about. Other abilities include moving faster than light by using something similar to the Alcubierre Drive, twist truth and memories, and turning the world into the shape of a donut. There is also the power to destroy the planet at the cost of the user's life btw.

Lucifer doesn’t do most of this because despite being a nihilist, he cares about a fair fight. As per my explanation of this fruit, you can understand why the World Government would want this fruit, because they can use it to eliminate threats to their “Justice”, acquire powerful items like the Nika fruit and the Ancient Weapons. But the people who want it most are the descendents of Arlecchino Lilith because they claim that it's their birthright.

Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Chimera

A Mythical Zoan that allows the user to transform into a chimera or chimera-human hybrid. A Chimera is a Frankenstein of a animal, with the head, upper torso, and front legs of a lion, another head, lower torso and hind legs of a goat, and a snake for a tail (no mention of wings I'll get to that).

The lion head is controlled by the left side of the user, making that head smart and cunning, but uncreative and have a dull personality, while the goat head is controlled by the right brain, making that head creative, but animalistic and not intelligent. the tail snake is controlled by instinct and is basically a regular snake.

For attacks, the user can use the lion jaws to bite, claws to slash, kick with hind legs (people who got kicked by goat can tell who how much it hurts), ram with horn, and the most dangerous of all, the snek. the snake tail can either warp an opponent to constrict, crush or hold them in place, but also bite and inject a powerful venom that can either cause paralysis or stop blood clotting, making it incredibly dangerous that only skilled doctors (like Chopper or Law) can cure it.

For weaknesses, the goat, lion and snake may infight since they are very different from each other, leading to differing ideas and tactics. minor weaknesses include tripping on tail, damaging each other, if someone protects themselves with armament haki against the snake, they won't get poisoned unless the fang are coated in haki as well. other than these it has the same weakness as a normal Devil Fruit.

In order to awakening, both the lion and goat must put aside their differences and work together (which I know it's overused) and also match the will of the fruit. if you don't then you'd end up like the jailer beasts. If you manage to awaken the fruit, you get the regular upgrades for awakening, but also some interesting abilities.

the goat parts will shed or burn away to transform into dragon parts like lower torso, and right head. the dragon can now spew fire as hot as Charlotte Oven's Netsu Netsu no Mi or Don Accino's Atsu Atsu no Mi. the scales of the dragon can withstand the Mera Mera no Mi's Fire.

• The back will sprout draconic wings (there's the wings) that allow the user to fly

• The hind legs and wing can use the fire from the breath attack and release it like a jet engine, which allows the user to reach speed equal or surpassing a Lunarian's top speed (i.e. King), or coat the legs in flames like Sanji's Diable Jambe.

• The lion's mane ignites into flames (more of a cool look than a offensive one)

• The snake tail doubles in size and length, while increasing the venom potency to Magellan's Doku Doku no Mi levels of deadliness and cutting the time of the venom's effects down to a 1/4 of the original time.

And for the user of this probably op fruit is a female CP0 agent who I haven't named yet (I'm think it'll be Greek or something I dunno)

• Stealth skills

Besides that tysm for the feedback, the zoan forms create a compartment or "organ" that's able to hold water due to a protective membrane. so you still have the weakness of the standard devil fruit, you're just able to suck up water and blast it out like Godzilla's atomic breath. If the user sucks up to much water, it can negatively affect them. also Taniwhas are form Maori Myth.

Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Taniwha.

A Mythical Zoan that allows the user to turn into a Taniwha or Taniwha-Human hybrid at will.

A Taniwha has 2 different form based on environment. At sea, they appear as a large shark or whale (for this example I'll go with a Whale Shark). Inland, they appear lake a lizard (a gecko, a Tuatara, or Saltwater Croc) but still remain the same size as if they were at sea.

Abilities include burrowing and shape shift based on their surroundings (camouflage?). Since this is too little for an Mythical zoan imo, i have so other abilities the fruit can have: Water Breath: suck up water from mouth and spray it out like fire breath without affect user via standard devil fruits weakness, it could even be boiling hot water.

High resistance to damage: the scales of the Zoan form could act like armor, similar to Kaidou's durability.

Haven't worked out awakened form, but if the user fails and the fruit nature takes over, I imagine the Zoan nature would be cunning and bloodthirsty...

I can think of a couple of combos

Pika-pika and Uo Uo azure dragon: move at the speed of light and can transform into a big fuck off dragon

Bari Bari and doku doku: a more defensive one, even if someone get pass your barrier, you can still poison them, and don't forget that there is no cure for the poisons you make as well as the ability to make said poison a gas.

Goro Goro and Supa Supa or Goru Goru: if you awaken one of the Paramecia fruits and make the environment metal (because swords are made of metal) you can use the Goro Goro to shock enemies as metal is a conduit of lightning, also the ground is literal blades if supa supa.

This isn't all I can think of but 3 should be good :)
