A while ago everyone was discussing how the girl in the live action of one piece during Gol D Roger's execution scene could be crocodile. At first I thought the creators probably wouldn't do such a serious gender swap cause it wouldn't be beneficial or anything. But I was rewatching the impel down arc in the anime when I realized how Ivankov threatened Crocodile with a supposed secret they knew. In turn not only was Crocodile not angry but also embarrassed, after which I came to the conclusion that maybe when Crocodile was a rookie during a fight against Ivankov got her gender swapped from a girl to a boy now and hence became a secret he feels ashamed of revealing and maybe that is why the person we saw in the trailer who seemed like crocodile but was a girl. Anyway that is my thought I am open for any counters Thanks for listening to my rant.

I do not share your views on this one. It is a PIRATE CREW. They have to always put there lives on the line. We all know in the conflict between Luffy and Ussop, Ussop was wrong. Is it wrong for Zoro to demand that someone apologises when they are in the wrong. Let's not forget besides being the crew's swordsman Zoro is also Luffy's best friend and first mate of the ship. Him saying that he would leave if Ussop did not apologise is basically him demanding his friend to have a backbone, as a pirate captain and also as his best friend. In a situation where when you were fighting for your best friend but instead your best friend defends the other person it would break your heart. And let's not forget that Luffy is a captain who does what he wants when he wants but also puts hundred percent trust in his crew, is it too much for Zoro to demand that others do the same? And Ussop said some very absurd things when fighting Luffy while Luffy has been wholeheartedly protecting his crew all along no matter who. luffy was hurt was it too much for Zoro to expect Ussop to atleast feel sorry for what he did?
In my view what they achieved at Laughtale is not going to be something that would be very significant, from a random person's point of view, but would mean a lot to us as audience and fans and to the Straw Hats who set out in search for it. For Gol D Roger to say if you want it you can go see it yourself, I doubt it means something like the big deal the world makes it out to be. We all know Roger and Luffy are very similar in personalities. I think what Roger wanted was to see more people have an actual dream and conviction to explore like he did. The next are the significant answers brought about at Laughtale, something that all of us are dying to know: "We learned everything about the world. What is the 100 year old void? The People of D? Ancient Weapons? And how Wano was connected to the rest of the world but now it is not" We know now that it all relates to Joyboy and Joyboy has not been seen since 800 years. Hence I feel that if you think of One Piece as a treasure it is definitely not on Laughtale. But if you think of Laughtale as their end destination, the goal they were seeking it is what it is. Next about the whole era being repeated I do not think it is important cause we are following Luffy, and it is dificult for another character such as Luffy to exist. And anyways it's not about being the First Pirate King it is about being the next so even if the whole thing were to happen again following Luffy it will unless you know they actually decide to conquer the Celestial Dragons which seems of high importance to me. and now I am rambling.
Sorry got no one to talk to about OP so I tend to go overboard.
One ongoing and most popular theory is that the devil fruit eaters can not reach the Laughtale because we saw Toki and Buggy get sick. That is totally possible but it does not apply to the Straw Hats.
As the treasure or the Laughtale existed because Joyboy left something on it. Luffy is naturally not the one who would be sick on his journey.
Robin belongs to the Ohara clan, the archaeologists so it is impossible for the people from that land to be restricted in a place where all answers of history are.
Chopper, despite eating the devil fruit is a reindeer, hence the theory that he won't get sick as he is an animal who ate the devil fruit.
Brook naturally is not going to be sick because he is not someone who can get sick I mean I doubt a skeleton would have high fever (That was how Toki and Buggy got sick)
I'll continue my thoughts on other theories later..
For me its either Luffy, Zoro or Robin. Extremes of their kind but yeah
To be honest I had to go through the same. I watched at 3 am in the morning with my roommate in the same room which made it impossible for me to cry my heart out. I think to almost everyone in the fandom it's the effect of Ace's death on Luffy that effects everyone. To top it off they actually showed their childhood memories after the death. I skipped that part when i first watched it cause my heart was hurting.
