@Charys Da 2nd right! And also, some fights are just funnier with the dialogue cause you can understand it. An example (also from Enies Lobby) is Zoro VS Kaku. Just- it’s amazing. That whole fight is better in dub imo

Main theme I’ve noticed when it comes to disliking the dub: Luffy’s voice. I mean, I get why it can be annoying, but I personally don’t find it that bad; the VA does a great job with a lot of the lines and they actually did an amazing job for Gear 5 with the laughter and such.

Bur in all seriousness, I’m glad you enjoyed it! Too many people shit on the OP dub for no reason! I mean, I can understand not liking some of the voices, but most of them are AMAZING (ahem Franky and Brook ahem), and I just think people hate on it too hard.
Probably my bias as a dub watcher, but Binks’ Brew is better. Ian Sinclair (name spelling is hard help) is SUCH a good VA for Brook and he absolutely NAILED singing it.
