Per company policy, all submissions must list a name and functional mailing address on the back, or else be immediately discarded on receipt.
From Volume 6 on, each gallery has publicly recognized one grand-prize winner. The prize in question is a Luffy sketch from Eiichiro Oda, personally autographed.
(According to Oda, gallery works are chosen based on skill, interest of subject, style, and most importantly how well the address is written on the envelope.[3])

Translation and Dub Issues
Due to potential copyright concerns, the Viz manga does not reprint the Galleries wholesale, instead soliciting new art submissions to the following address:
Shonen Jump c/o Viz, LLC P.O. Box 77010 San Francisco, CA 94107 |
Viz began printing its galleries from Volume 7 on. Due to low interest, the series was featured irregularly, and discontinued entirely at Volume 20 (notwithstanding a one-time revival in Volume 61).
