La famiglia Dadan (ダダン一家, Dadan Ikka?) è un gruppo di banditi di montagna diretto da Curly Dadan, e abitano sul monte Corbo, sull'isola Dawn, nel mare orientale. Garp afferma che il numero di reati che hanno commesso sia maggiore del numero di stelle che ci sono in cielo.
Membri
Template:Dadan family Escludendo Dadan, gli unici membri di cui si conoscono i nomi sono Dogura e Magura, anche se ce ne sono molti altri. Dadan viene costretta dal viceammiraglio Monkey D. Garp a prendersi cura del suo nipote adottivo Portuguese D. Ace, e tempo dopo anche del suo nipote di sangue Monkey D. Rufy. I due ragazzi dovrebbero lavorare per la banda, facendo le pulizie, andando a caccia e talvolta derubando le persone, cosa che fanno raramente, e a loro si unisce il ragazzo figlio di nobili Sabo, che si vergogna del suo status sociale. Tutti e tre i ragazzi decidono di diventare pirati, ma Sabo probabilmente muore dopo essere stato attaccato dal nobile mondiale Jalmack all'età di 10 anni. Ace e Rufy lasciano l'isola raggiunti i 17 anni, ma Ace muore per mano dell'ammiraglio Akainu durante la battaglia di Marineford, all'età di 20 anni. Luffy, che al momento di anni ne ha 19, è l'unico superstite dei tre ragazzi, e tutta la famiglia Dadan desidera che viva una vita eccezionale.

Saga dopo la guerra
La famiglia Dadan festeggia il ritorno alla ribalta di Rufy.
Dopo la morte di Ace a Marineford, la famiglia Dadan scende dal monte Corbo fino al villaggio di Foosha e affronta Garp, che vi è appena sbarcato. Dadan in persona colpisce il Marine violentemente per non aver protetto il ragazzo e per aver messo il dovere davanti alla famiglia. Poi grida a squarciagola la sua solidarietà a Rufy, avendo saputo che è riuscito a fuggire grazie all'aiuto di Trafalgar Law.
Due anni dopo
Quando il giornale pubblica la foto del ritorno dei pirati di Cappello di paglia, tutta la famiglia Dadan fa una festa; Dadan mette da parte il ritaglio della notizia, così come aveva fatto in precedenza con gli articoli che riguardavano Ace.
