Rear Admiral Barricade is a Marine Headquarters officer who guards the Tower of Justice at Enies Lobby. He appears in One Piece Odyssey.

Appearance

Barricade is a muscular man with a large, square jaw and prominent underbite. He has two protruding bottom teeth, a prominent brow, narrow eyes, and short, brown hair with a bushy, brown beard. He wears a dark green suite, a black button-up shirt, a thin blue tie, black gloves, and a Marine coat.

Personality

Barricade is unable to keep secrets and openly speaks his mind, often thinking out loud.

Barricade has a reputation for his ability to protect important places. He is said to have a bold fighting style.

History

Past

Barricade was stationed in Enies Lobby, and placed in charge of hiding the keys to open the Underground Passage. He kept one on himself, hid one in the pantry fireplace, and hid one on Chujo.

One Piece Odyssey

When the Straw Hat Pirates infiltrated Enies Lobby, Barricade was present on the island, and aided in searching for them. When the pirates reached the Underground Passage, a marine soldier saw them and called Barricade for backup, who rushed over.

He challenged the pirates to a fight, but quickly lost. After his defeat, he gloated that the pirates at least wouldn't be able to travel through the passage without the key, which Nami then revealed she had stolen during the battle. He laughed again, stating they didn't know that they needed three, which the Straw Hats thanked him for revealing. Panicking, Barricade pointed out that they wouldn't know to look in the pantry, once again revealing information to the pirates. Confused at how they were finding out, Barricade assumed they had a mind-reading Devil Fruit, and the Straw Hats left for the pantry.

Reunion of Memories

In the Enies Lobby Memoria where the Whitebeard Pirates attacked, Barricade attempted to stop the Straw Hats and Whitebeard as they descended Enies Lobby. In the process, he accidentally revealed that a Marine Admiral was waiting to ambush them at the bottom, to the annoyance of his subordinates. He was quickly defeated by the pirates.
