Bent is a young boy with short, light-colored hair in an upward spike atop an oval-shaped head with a large, round chin at its base. He wears a black fur coat over his shoulders and down his back.[1]

Bent is very afraid of his mother and tends to stress over how she will respond to his troubles.[2] Like other Walrus School students, he is against violence and fighting.[1]

Bent's mother is seemingly very strict towards him, making Bent afraid of upsetting her.[2] Due to Bent finding his mother "scary," a nightmare version of her was manifested as a MMA via Rimoshifu Killingham's ability.[3] Despite this, Bent's mother cared for her son and braved danger in an attempt to rescue him from the God's Knights. Due to her determination, she was able to withstand Imu's Supreme King Haki.[4]
Bent's father is a member of the Giant Warrior Pirates. He was very worried about his son when Bent, along with ten other students from the Walrus School, was kidnapped by the God's Knights.[5]

Bent and a group of Walrus School students met the Straw Hat Pirates when they arrived and were also greeted by the biology teacher Ripley.[1] Later on, Colon arrived at the school and engaged in battle with Luffy, which made Bent and the other students upset at him for starting a fight.[6] After the Straw Hats left, Bent attended Ange's class where everyone was discussing their greatest fears.[7]
At some point, Bent and eight other students were used as hostages for the God's Knights to force the local adult giants to fight for them in an incoming large-scale war. They were put to sleep and were lured away by arrows as part of their plan.[8] They walked along Branch 8 of Forest Sector 2 where a large fire started by Loki was in front of them, but Jinbe extinguished the fire, allowing the kids to remain unharmed.[9] Eventually, the kids woke up from Killingham's sleep ability, but realized they could not move with Gunko's arrow controlling them. They were told by Colon that they were being abducted, and were subsequently ambushed by two MMA creatures, which made Bent afraid that his mother would be upset.[5]

Bent is a male given name used in the Nordic countries, originally a Danish contraction of the name Benedictus. This follows the Scandinavian and Nordic theming of Elbaph.
