Blion is a lion with yellow fur and a red mane stylized to have a lot of arched pieces and a pompadour at the top. He has a tattoo on his right arm and neck with an arched pattern and Uta's name written in capital letters. He wears a black, white, and purple tank top and black leather pants. He also wears sunglasses, a silver belt, and bracelets on both wrists.
Blion first appeared in the promotional artwork for Uta no Uta: ONE PIECE FILM RED. He and Girash were included as one of the five possible collectible cards that came with the physical album, listed as the Animal Band (動物バンド?), instead of their group name written in full katakana.[4]

Blion's name seems to be a combination of "lion" (ライオン,raion?) and the name "Brian" (ブライアン,Buraian?). He may be a reference to Brian May, the lead guitarist of Queen.
