Hello, I have some questions regarding the One Piece Color Walk books. Cause I'm thinking about trying to pick up a copy or two of the One Piece Color Walk books for myself, eventually.
I'm only asking here cause I can't seem to find a lot of information about them on this wiki. So anyways, here goes:
1. What exactly are the One Piece Color Walk books, and what do they contain? I mean, for example, is the One Piece Color Walk 1 book just like Volumes 1 - 9 of the Manga series, except all of it is in color?
2. What exactly are the differences between the Normal One Piece Color Walk books like the 1st one, and the One Piece Color Walk Compendium books?
Again, I'm asking here, because I'm thinking about picking up some for myself, and also cause …Read more >
I recently posted this in the Discussions part of the wiki, but after reading the "Guidelines, FAQ and Help" post on the Discussions part of the wiki, I thought that it would be better if I repost it here on the actual wiki. So anyways, here goes:
Now that Funimation has finally revealed the return of the One Piece English Dub, when do you think the next batch of DVDs, or Blu-Rays will come out? Like when do you think that One Piece Season 10 Voyage 1 will come out on DVD, or on Blu-Ray / DVD combo pack (if they decide to start releasing the new seasons on Blu-Ray)? Let me know what your thoughts are about this.Read more >

The truth behind the incident reveals that Orochi destroyed all access preventing his enemies from heading to the promised Port. But despite that the Nine Red Scabbards but Momonosuke decide to head to battle Kaido. It's a sad chapter in the middle and almost the climax. Assuming this Kaido/Big Mom alliance will last, who is strong enough to actually be a threat to them? Luffy is supposed to be the strongest one in his alliance and he got KO'd in one hit by Kaido. The only ones we know right now that are strong enough to fight them are Garp and the Marines. The Shichibukai have never been strong enough to be a threat to the Yonko, they were there to keep weaker pirates in check, we can talk all day about Mihawk facing Shanks but the Yonko are named as such because of their Power base not because of how good they are in a one on one fight. The only thing keeping the Yonko from taking over the world are the other Yonko and the Admirals, along with the Admiral level Marines like Garp, Sengoku, Kong, Momousagi…Read more >

One Piece family, I have a question about the manga vs. anime. I’ve been watching one piece for years now and have been kinda bored with how fast everything is being released. I've been re-watching the One Piece anime and recently got to Amazon Lily.
Luffy's displacement in comparison to the rest of his crew I feel is very unique, whilst the rest of the Strawhats were sent to a location that was beneificial to them in getting stronger or becoming more skilled in their role Luffy himself didn't train at the Amazon Lily rather he trained with Rayleigh on the island Rusukaina, so for what reason was Luffy sent to Amazon Lily by Kuma?
I think that Oda sent Luffy there as a hint to Luffy's heritage. I believe that Kuma sent Luffy there because his leader Monkey D Dragon told him that he, Dragons, blood mother came from Amazon Lily and I have a very sneaky suspicion that Dragon's Mother is Glorisa the former Empress of …Read more >
Wow, this chapter sure reveals a lot of stuff. First of all, it's nice to finally see the bounties of Roger and each of the Yonko after all these years. Anyway, too bad for the Marines to learn about Kaido and Big Mom's newly formed alliance after the Shichibukai system has been dissolved. Judging by how Issho looks, it seems Sabo at least landed some hits on him. Not sure if Sabo's comrades are just as capable. Ivankov and Inazuma couldn't do a thing when they faced Akainu during the Marineford war.
What's more important is more info on Rocks is revealed. I can't believe Whitebeard was in the same group as Kaido and Big Mom. What interests me is the time that Roger and Garp fought as allies.
Sakazuki mentions that the Marines are leaving Wa…Read more >

So looks like the raid on Onigashima would have to wait. A lot of big things happen in this chapter. I'm afraid to think what could have happened to Cobra, Vivi, and Sabo. I give Morgans points for not being a pushover. At least Neptune and his family are back at Fish-man Island safely.
The other highlight of the chapter is that the Shichibukai system has been abolished. Issho must be pleased with this. I do smile at Buggy's newfound misfortune but I'm worried about Hancock. Good luck trying to catch her Koby.
Another important thing this chapter reveals is that Drake was never on Kaido's side. So it's more reasonable to suspect that he did helped Law. However, is Drake still going to fight the alliance as an enemy?Read more >
Oda is really moving the story forward in this chapter. Now is only one day left before the raid on Onigashima and Act 2 comes to end.
Luffy finally learns how to use advanced Busoshoku Haki and Zoro gives Enma a test run, and it looks like it can do some serious damage. According to Robin, the enemy is already bigger in terms of numbers. Assuming that Kaido and Big Mom are still buddies, it's only going to get worse. Usopp, Nami, and Chopper are going to cry when they hear about the team up between the two Yonko. Luffy better be prepared to use Haoshoku Haki to thin out the enemy ranks. More bad news is that Orochi knows about the new meeting place and that Hiyori is alive. As for the prisoners in the capital, hopefully someone can free th…Read more >
First, let's start with the small stuff. Momonosuke and Hiyori each got a sword from Oden and Zoro decides to accept Enma. Kin'emon receives Yasuie's last message and explains how to read it. Luffy continues with his training without any enemies breathing down his neck. Law is now free and Hawkins is subdued. And it turns out that Apoo has been working for Kaido since before Kaido's arrival at Kid's hideout.
Now for the one thing that stands out in this chapter. Kaido and Big Mom stop fighting and decide to form an alliance. When I first saw the spoilers, I was like “What the hell?!” I was expecting them to keep each other busy for the next few days by clashing, not go buddy buddy with each other. I hate to think what this could mean for Lu…Read more >
Basically, this chapter is focused on Kawamatsu. Apparently, he had been busy before he was caught and he has the solution to the alliance's weapon shortage problem.
Hiyori certainly mentions something very interesting in this chapter, a sword that left a scar on Kaido. Luffy is the one who aims to defeat Kaido, but he's no swordsman. However, this chapter implies that this sword will have an important role later on if not just being a substitute for Shusui. Speaking of swords, what happened to the one Luffy borrowed from Tama's master.
This chapter also reveals something interesting about Gyukimaru. So what exactly is he? A real magical creature or another Devil Fruit user?Read more >

It's so touching to see Hiyori happily reunited with Kawamatsu! T.T at the snowy location of Wano. Good news is Luffy is all better and getting fired up. A lot of things are happening in this chapter. Zoro fights Gyukimaru again, Zoro meets Kawamatsu, Hiyori reunites with Kawamatsu, and the yakuza bosses in Udon are introduced.
This chapter has shown plenty of good news. Chopper took care of the Mummy virus, Ashura has the blueprints of Kaido's fortress, Gyukimaru is an ally and he got weapons to give. Oh and Babanuki is still alive. I’m surprised he can still talk after what happened to him. At least Tama turned him into an ally. Kaido won’t be happy if he finds out that the fruits he had been using to strengthen his crew can be turned against him. Hopefully, Sanji and Shinobu will be successful in rescuing the prisoners in the Flower Capital and Law getting himself out of his predicament. …Read more >
I'm sure you're all aware that last Friday there was no new chapter of the Wano Country Arc and also the release of new OP movie One Piece: Stampede in Japan as well. It's my first time making this blog and I may wanna hear what you wanna to see for Chapter 592. Comment if you may!Read more >
The good news is that none of the Straw Hats were captured. The bad news is that the security in the Flower Capital has increased. Is making funny faces is how Usopp and Robin evade the authorities? I can’t believe Robin, of all people, is making that kind of face willingly. She has come a long way, hasn’t she?
Another good news is that Hawkins released Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin. Let's wait to see what Law plans to do.
The highlight of this chapter is the clash between Kaido and Big Mom. Kuzan and Sakazuki had a fight that lasted for ten days so how long will a fight between Kaido and Big Mom last (assuming that the fight is going to be fair)? I will not be surprised if Kaido does something underhanded like his subordinates. On one hand, it …Read more >
It appears that Kid is not teaming up with Luffy, not at the moment anyway. I'm sad that my prediction of Luffy and Kid starting a prison uprising together turned out to be wrong, but I’m sure Kid still has a role to play in this arc. Kid better not get captured again. Luffy looks terrible. Didn't he already looked terrible once in the Whole Cake Island Arc before Sanji gave him that bento box? If Chopper isn't in Udon, what the hell is Luffy going to do? The Beasts Pirates outside Udon may not know about the prison takeover, but I doubt it's going to remain unnoticed for 8 days.
The bright side is that Ashura finally comes around. It's sad that not everyone could wait for 20 years. Every time I see how bad Wano is, it's all the more reason…Read more >
Looks like it's a glorious day for Luffy. The best part of this chapter other than Babanuki's defeat is Luffy winning the prisoners over. I am a bit disappointed that Kid has hardly done anything.
The alliance is lucky that the gamble to bring Big Mom to Udon actually paid off, but there is still 8 days before the Fire Festival and there's no telling what can happen during those 8 days. I hope we get to see what is going on with Law and the other Straw Hats in the next chapter.
Anyway, I hate to be Babanuki right now. That has got to hurt really bad. And I wouldn't want to be that scorpion guy either. It's a good thing that Chopper is there, because it's obvious that Luffy and some of the prisoners are going to need a doctor.Read more >
It seems that taking over Udon wasn't going to be as simple as Luffy thought. I have to give the warden some credit. Just when Luffy was acting all confident, the warden turned the tables on him. This shows Luffy that he can't get too careless even with fodders, especially those who don't shy away from underhanded tactics. Luckily, he got the support of Hyogoro, Raizo, Kiku, and Kawamatsu. Kid needs to be free as well. Can't have the prison uprising without him having part of the action.
With Kawamatsu finally making his full appearance, the only Scabbard left to be revealed is Denjiro. Plus, Oden and Toki also need to be fully shown and not just as silhouettes.
I agree with Chopper on one thing. Forget about Big Mom. She is Queen's problem …Read more >
Ok maybe this isn't the trial by fire that Luffy will be going through to master his Busoshoku Haki. At least both Luffy and Hyogoro survived and Luffy has taken a step forward.
The bad news is that Big Mom regains her memories. Of course it was going to happen sooner or later. However, by some stroke of luck, Big Mom falls asleep and the Beasts Pirates bind her in Seastone chains. I hope Big Mom reaches Kaido's island so I can watch Kaido and Big Mom destroy each other, but Big Mom will have to break free first.
Anyway, with Queen and Big Mom both out of the Prisoner Mines, now is Luffy and his allies' chance to start the prison uprising.Read more >
The confrontation between Queen and Big Mom was pretty much one-sided. Is that really all he got? What was the point of his Zoan form other than becoming a bigger punching bag? However, Queen is still conscious so he's not out yet. The question is what is he going to do next.
The communications in Udon have been disabled so that means Kaido won’t be hearing about Big Mom's presence anytime soon. Good news are Kid and Killer are saved from drowning and Luffy manages to remove the collars. Bad news is that Big Mom is angry at Luffy. At least Big Mom is nicely thinking about others.
I do admire Hyogoro's boldness, putting himself in harm's way to test Luffy. Looks like the real trial by fire is about to begin. It's good that Caribou is being he…Read more >

The conflict at Rasetsu Town sure is heating up. Right now, Law has his own problem to deal with. Not only is Bepo missing, but Hawkins can transfer any damage done to him to Law's crewmates. Let's wait to see how Law and Hawkin's powers fair against each other. Hiyori came close to getting captured, but fortunately she has her own knight in shiny armor. I love the look on Sanji's face when he saw Hiyori with Zoro. Is Sanji and Drake going to finish their battle or is Drake going to let Sanji slip away again?
On another note, Shutenmaru has found out about Kin'emon's ploy. Shutenmaru says he wants to show Kin'emon something, so does that mean he is going to come around?
And now back to the drama at Udon. I can't believe Queen allowed Big Mom…Read more >
It's nice to see Zoro and Sanji with their usual bromance again. While I never expected much from Orochi, I never thought he would need someone to shield him and run from a fight. In any case, he's not going to be happy that Toko was saved from his wrath again. Since Luffy's comrades were shown on the broadcast, will the Beasts Pirates be hunting down the Straw Hats (something that Law was worried about before all this chaos happened)? Nice going Toko, you probably just made things harder for the Straw Hats. Sorry, I currently don’t have a reason to like her. She picked a dumb way to get on Orochi's hit list and Hiyori got hurt for it. Toko better be grateful that she is fortunate to have met people who are kind enough to protect her. The …Read more >
First of all, this chapter gives an explanation for the question I had for the previous chapter.
Besides that, the best part of the chapter for me is Zoro and Sanji finally meeting again. It's going to be just like old times. Too bad that Toko had to get into trouble again.
This may sound harsh, but if Toko is going to be an annoying side character who is only good at getting into trouble and needs saving, then I won't feel sorry for her if she dies. I get that she cares about her father, but that's no reason to pointlessly put herself in danger. Did she even ask herself what could she do? Now that Orochi has seen Toko, no doubt he wants to make sure she's dead this time. I’m sure Orochi is beneath Zoro and Sanji, but let's not forget that D…Read more >
Well it looks like it's the end for Yasu. You don't suppose he actually survived all those gunshots, do you? Basically, this whole chapter is Yasu saying his last words, assuming that Oda isn't planning on having another person miraculously surviving again.
The bright side of this chapter is Zoro didn't get lost this time. Anyway, Toko and Hiyori better hide before Orochi sees them.
What I am curious about is Hiyori's statement about the SMILE fruits' effect on the people of Ebisu Town. Exactly how do the fruits affect them? I thought Kaido only gives these fruits to his crew.Read more >
I've been keeping a tab on all the errors I've noticed in the recent Vivre Card height listings. Here is a brief rundown of each one thus far. If anyone is curious, I can hash out specifics.
- Fisher Tiger is wildly too large in ways easily verifiable by comparison with Jinbei, Aladin, Arlong and Koala
- Trebol's height is notably too short in comparison images with Diamante, Pica, Doflamingo and other Donquixote pirates
- Vista's height is significantly too high when compared to both other Whitebeard pirates and in particular Shank's crew
- Rosinante's height directly contradicts SBS and is flagrantly off when compared to Doflamingo
- Yeti Cool Bro heights are oversized when comparing their extremities (hands and footprints) to the Straw Hats
- Kyros is gi…
First, I want to say some things about the previous chapter. So it turns out that the three men who were swindled were actually completely rotten to the core. I know they sold their families, but I thought it was because of their stupidity. Anyway, that gives me less reason to doubt Hiyori.
Speaking of Caribou, I think it may be a good thing that Raizo freed him. With his powers, Caribou can easily hide and make guards disappear. I have to give him some credit for not becoming Kaido's lackey. His cover story did show that he does have some backbone. He did choose to save that granny when he could have just escaped and he allowed Drake to capture him to protect that granny.
And then there's Big Mom, who is closing in on the prisoner mines. Al…Read more >
Well, it's official. The crew is complete. Caribou has joined the Straw Hat Pirates, fulfilling Luffy's dream to have ten crew members.
This revelation is quite out of left field, as Carrot and Momonosuke were the top candidates to take that final spot, but honestly, I can't think of anyone more deserving than Caribou. He has a Logia power, diversifying the crew's power sets. Oda said that a former villain would join the crew, and Caribou of course fits that to a tee. We've also seen his tragic backstory, when he left his brother Coribou to die at the Marine base in his cover story, and when that other guy's grandma died in front of him. Truly a tear jerker.
If you supported Carrot or someone else for Straw Hat, I would not give up hope just…Read more >
At the end of the series, when most of the "old pirates" are retired/dead/out of the picture and the new generation is able to move up to their titles, who will get what? What I'm talking about is how for the marines, there's hope that captain Koby will eventually reach the rank of admiral (maybe epilogue?) or at least vice admiral by the end of the series. What's going to happen on the pirate's side though?
Get ready for a lot of assumptions. We need to make a few to have this conversation.
- Luffy becomes pirate king and is not considered eligable for yonko because he's above them.
- Black beard is taken out of the picture by the end of the series (killed by luffy, imprisoned, who knows)
- Kaido and Big Mom both either retire or are also taken ou…
To start off, this chapter shed some light on how Hiyori escaped the destruction of Oren Castle twenty years ago, assuming this woman is telling the truth. I actually hope this woman is being truthful and not another Pudding. Anyway, she still need to explain how she faked her death at the palace.
On another note, the captured Heart Pirates are in the same place with the arrested rebels. If Law is going to save his crew, then perhaps he could also save the rebels.
I guess when push comes to shove, Hyogoro isn't so helpless after all. It's nice to see Luffy utilizing his Kenbunshoku Haki very well. Hopefully Luffy can learn that advanced technique of Busoshoku Haki soon. Though this may help Luffy harm Kaido, I still think it would be benefic…Read more >
Hey, guys. It's been a while. Wow, it's been almost 2 years since I last wrote anything. Dang. Sorry, I've been busy. This won't be that kind of blog post.
I've been thinking lately about why my two favorite story arcs (Punk Hazard and Dressrosa) are my favorites and I realized that it had nothing to do with the fights or the new characters or anything flashy like that. It had to do more with the setup and execution of the elements involved. The themes at work in each arc, I think, are some of Oda's best writing in the whole series. I'd like to examine why these arcs worked so well thematically in their execution.
Punk Hazard was one of the few arcs after East Blue where we had no idea what was going to happen. Unlike Little Garden, where t…Read more >
Well things are looking grim for the alliance as their plan is falling apart. As usual, things get worse before they get better. The question is how are they going to get better. As I wonder if there is a traitor, I also remember that unanswered question of how the Beasts Pirates located Zou. Inuarashi wondered about that back in Chapter 824.
Anyway, the highlight of this chapter is that the woman Zoro protected revealed herself to be Hiyori, assuming that her claim is true. And the map after the last page not only indicated that Komurasaki is alive but she is also Hiyori as well. If this woman and Komurasaki are indeed one and the same, then I'll give Kyoshiro some credit for making everyone believe she's dead.
By the way, I cannot ignore t…Read more >
An early chapter that doesn't come with a break? How bout that!
Luffy continues with the "thank u, next" as Queen clearly thinks he has all the time in the world to slowly ramp up all his forces at him, and oh look, he likes shiruko which Big Mom likes too! This definitely isn't setting up for some massive embarrassing carnage! There's foreboding juxtaposition, and then there's this thick paste of proclaiming the future. Only question is will Daifugo get the chance to be embarrassed a second time before Big Mom arrives?
Kamazo's arrival and allegiance revelation was a nice twist, glad all the mystery folk around Wano aren't all missing Kozuki samurai. And of course, him giving Zoro possibly his most gruesome wound since the timeskip was pret…Read more >
To start off, Luffy and Hyogoro are forced to fight in death matches. The bright side is that Luffy is not restricted by Seastone. Poor Raizo went through a lot of effort to get the keys to the cuffs only for them to be removed anyway. I like the way Luffy smiles when he took out the fodders. However, I have a feeling that things are only going to get worse for Luffy before he's freed.
Nami's group just had a close call with Drake and Hawkins. Also, it turns out that Sanji was in the bathhouse after all. Sanji better thank his family for giving him an opportunity to get a nice good look at Nami. Fortunately, Sanji and Nami's group managed to avoid a confrontation.
Unfortunately, this chapter reveals more bad news. The Beasts Pirates are awar…Read more >
Looks like Luffy got into a pickle once again. While it was nice watching him beat up a bully, I guess Luffy would have to eventually find himself in a situation where being a rebellious badass isn't enough anymore. It's how it goes in every story arc. Things go good for one moment before they go bad and then they get better later on. Coming face-to-face with a Disaster while not at full strength is definitely a worst case scenario for Luffy. The upside is that Raizo stole the keys to Luffy's handcuffs and found Kawamatsu. However, even if Raizo managed to free both Luffy and Kawamatsu, Queen is not an opponent who will go down easily. Also, fighting Queen outright would also put the other innocent prisoners at risk. Though Luffy could jus…Read more >
This chapter was a lot different from the last one but just as awesome, maybe even more so.
Complaints out of the way first: Sanji-P1's conclusion being offscreen kind of sucked, even though the result was rather inevitable. Also, why'd Alpacaman get a name but the Jack-scorpion guy didn't? I mean, he'll probably get a name in the next chapter, but still.
The chapter was carried by the very high quality of its interactions. The Big Mom Pirates banter (guess Katakuri's doing fine), Hitetsu's reaction to Tama taking Big Mom out for a spin, Robin's report, Alpacaman spitting on Luffy, Hyo's speech to the scorpion guy. Sanji obsessing over the women's bath was a bit lesser in quality, but at least it wasn't entirely out of place. Plus his reacti…Read more >

Long story short, Orochi got so mad he even attacks some of the guests at the banquet. This shows what a typical scumbag he is. Good news is Shinobu, Nami, and Brook manage to reach Robin. I like how Brook is using his spirit form and Nami performing one of her flashy lightning attacks. That ninja move that Shinobu did on Hanzo was hilarious.
The huge highlight of the chapter is Kyoshiro striking down Komurasaki. However, I'm going to assume that Komurasaki is not really dead. Tama was even lucky to survive an attack from Kaido (even though he was in his dragon form at the time). Besides, we still haven't seen Komurasaki's sob story. I’m sure this incident will put a smile on the faces of the men whom she swindled. But, I do give her some r…Read more >

Early chapter this week! Overall, it scaled quite a bit back compared to recent chapters, but still advanced the plot quite a bit.
The Orochi ninjas look rather dangerous, and I hope they'll be relevant in the chapters to come. I do kind of wish Robin was able to be undercover longer, but at the same time it does say a lot about the skill of ninja and the level of security here on Wano. Plus, it looks like Nami will be shouldering a lot of the undercover stuff, so Robin has my full blessing to kick some ninja ass in the near future.
Kyoshiro continues to interest me, especially with the reveal that he helped bring up Komurasaki into who she is today...which is interesting, because there was a moment in her flashback in 928 that made it look …Read more >
At last, Sanji's raid suit is revealed. Guess it's not yellow as I originally though, but Stealth Black Sanji doesn't sound bad at all. The Vinsmokes' parting gift also granted what Sanji desired: invisibility. Even though Sanji still hates Germa, at least the suit doesn't take away his ability to swim, not like the Devil Fruit he wanted to eat before. Hopefully, Sanji doesn't forget the reason why he has to defeat Page One quickly. And hopefully, Page One will be lying on the ground beaten and Sanji is long gone by the time Drake and Hawkins arrive at Page One's location. I also pray that Drake and Hawkins don't resort to attacking the innocent like Page One did.
