Chapter 935: Disaster at Udon
Looks like Luffy got into a pickle once again. While it was nice watching him beat up a bully, I guess Luffy would have to eventually find himself in a situation where being a rebellious badass isn't enough anymore. It's how it goes in every story arc. Things go good for one moment before they go bad and then they get better later on. Coming face-to-face with a Disaster while not at full strength is definitely a worst case scenario for Luffy. The upside is that Raizo stole the keys to Luffy's handcuffs and found Kawamatsu. However, even if Raizo managed to free both Luffy and Kawamatsu, Queen is not an opponent who will go down easily. Also, fighting Queen outright would also put the other innocent prisoners at risk. Though Luffy could jus…
Chapter 934: High Hyopes
This chapter was a lot different from the last one but just as awesome, maybe even more so.
Complaints out of the way first: Sanji-P1's conclusion being offscreen kind of sucked, even though the result was rather inevitable. Also, why'd Alpacaman get a name but the Jack-scorpion guy didn't? I mean, he'll probably get a name in the next chapter, but still.
The chapter was carried by the very high quality of its interactions. The Big Mom Pirates banter (guess Katakuri's doing fine), Hitetsu's reaction to Tama taking Big Mom out for a spin, Robin's report, Alpacaman spitting on Luffy, Hyo's speech to the scorpion guy. Sanji obsessing over the women's bath was a bit lesser in quality, but at least it wasn't entirely out of place. Plus his reacti…
New Information for Upcoming Movie "Stampede"

Chapter 933: A Wano Rose Withers?
Long story short, Orochi got so mad he even attacks some of the guests at the banquet. This shows what a typical scumbag he is. Good news is Shinobu, Nami, and Brook manage to reach Robin. I like how Brook is using his spirit form and Nami performing one of her flashy lightning attacks. That ninja move that Shinobu did on Hanzo was hilarious.
The huge highlight of the chapter is Kyoshiro striking down Komurasaki. However, I'm going to assume that Komurasaki is not really dead. Tama was even lucky to survive an attack from Kaido (even though he was in his dragon form at the time). Besides, we still haven't seen Komurasaki's sob story. I’m sure this incident will put a smile on the faces of the men whom she swindled. But, I do give her some r…

Chapter 932: Eight-Headed Shogun and Two-Faced Courtesan
Early chapter this week! Overall, it scaled quite a bit back compared to recent chapters, but still advanced the plot quite a bit.
The Orochi ninjas look rather dangerous, and I hope they'll be relevant in the chapters to come. I do kind of wish Robin was able to be undercover longer, but at the same time it does say a lot about the skill of ninja and the level of security here on Wano. Plus, it looks like Nami will be shouldering a lot of the undercover stuff, so Robin has my full blessing to kick some ninja ass in the near future.
Kyoshiro continues to interest me, especially with the reveal that he helped bring up Komurasaki into who she is today...which is interesting, because there was a moment in her flashback in 928 that made it look …
Chapter 931: Henshin A Go Go Sanji!
At last, Sanji's raid suit is revealed. Guess it's not yellow as I originally though, but Stealth Black Sanji doesn't sound bad at all. The Vinsmokes' parting gift also granted what Sanji desired: invisibility. Even though Sanji still hates Germa, at least the suit doesn't take away his ability to swim, not like the Devil Fruit he wanted to eat before. Hopefully, Sanji doesn't forget the reason why he has to defeat Page One quickly. And hopefully, Page One will be lying on the ground beaten and Sanji is long gone by the time Drake and Hawkins arrive at Page One's location. I also pray that Drake and Hawkins don't resort to attacking the innocent like Page One did.
Looks like Robin has found herself in a predicament. Hopefully she doesn't su…
King and his Haki
What if King introduces a new level of buso haki to the world of one peice, similar to how Katakuri introduced a new level of kenbun haki? I've suggested in previous blogs that buso haki should get an evolution similar to how katakuri could see slightly into the future, and now I have another interesting idea on where this could be going.
Let's try to imagine where oda could take buso lvl 2. He's got to be able to draw it and make it visually distinct from the familiar black shade of lvl 1. How do you make it visually distinct? Different color, second outline in a different shade, emitting "aura" like Goku from dbz, some form of lightning or other element flowing around it? I'm a fan of the last one for a few reasons.
- Haki users have …
Chapter 930: Germa Sanji
The first highlight of the chapter is that the Big Mom Pirates arrive at Wano, which was one of the things I have been worrying about since this arc started. However, the best part of the chapter for me is King stopping the Big Mom Pirates from entering the country and causing their ship to fall. And seeing Big Mom sink sure puts a smile on my face. Obviously, this won't be the last time we'll see of Big Mom but hopefully, we won't see her for a long time.
The next highlight is Sanji facing off against Page One with Drake and Hawkins somewhere else at the moment, which is a good thing. In any case, Sanji better defeats Page One before Drake and Hawkins arrive to minimize the chances of getting caught. What surprised me is that Sanji is goin…

Chapter 929: Jurassic Wano
To start off, Minatomo no longer has the blueprints that Franky needs. I have no idea what Minatomo was thinking selling the blueprints, but that could be another complication to the alliance’s plans. Hopefully, whoever currently has the blueprints is a friend and not a foe.
Next up, we see Zoro made a new friend and is heading back to the Flower Capital assuming he doesn't turn to the wrong direction along the way.
The next highlight of the chapter is Orochi making his first full appearance and what I didn't expect to see was CP-0 negotiating with him. Are there any other parties that are going to be involved? I hope that Big Mom doesn't come and complicate things further. Since Robin is also attending the banquet, this is her big chance to…
Chapter 928 Thoughts
Things are going along nicely for Luffy. Raizo already infiltrated Udon prison and found the keys to Luffy's handcuffs but just need a little longer before he can get them. However, I'm still sure that Luffy isn't going to leave without freeing the other prisoners and starting a riot. The story of how Kid lost his arm and what he was doing in Big Mom's territory was interesting. He sure got guts picking fights with Yonko crews. I'm not surprised that Luffy and Kid would argue over who will defeat Kaido. After all, Luffy did get into an argument on who will defeat Doflamingo in the Dressrosa Arc. Like the final fight with Doflamingo, I'm certain that in the final fight with Kaido, Luffy will start off teaming up with some allies (such as Ki…

Benn Beckman may be the strongest Yonko commander because...
Ahoy!
It’s been years since I made a blog around here. I sure do miss those crazy blogging days, perhaps they are still going on but they sure are over for me.
Nowadays, being a professional writer, I simply don't have the luxury to write blogs frequently.
However, recently I was thinking about something, and figured once in a while won't hurt.
Anyways:
The idea behind this blog is, discussing the crew structure of the Yonko. As of now, we have seen that the crews of Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido and Blackbeard all have different commanders leading different wings... They operate like a mass controlling organization. However, as for Shanks' crew, things seemed a little different. Of course we did not get in depth view of how the Red Hair Pirates o…
Wano vs Whole Cake
Honestly this arc is way better imo though the only difference is Big Mom's crewmates were cool as fug whereas Kaido's look like fucking idiots that's my professional opinion ty all for reading
Chapter 927: Wano's Next Top Geisha
We're fast approaching the end of the year as we only have a chapter or two left in 2018. Today's chapter was more of a focus on the people of Wano, but it also put the spotlight onto the Straw Hat members that don't get a lot of exposure these days except for Sanji.
We begin with Sanji or Sanguro serving noodles to some girls in Wano while hanging out with Usopp, Robin, and Franky. However, we get some trouble as some of Kyoshiro's henchmen start a fuss with Sanji's business. Fortunately, Sanji and Franky defeat the henchmen and we get a new Wano citizen, a laughing and crying girl named Toko who I quite imagine will probably be annoying in the anime next year. Toko's role is that of a kamuro or an aid to a Courtesan known as Komurasaki…
Parody Story: Wano Country's Christmas Miracle
It is the month when everyone in Wano Country are filled with cheers and happiness, or at least that is what is supposed to be.
Long ago on every Christmas Eve, the benevolent Kozuki Oden would deliver presents to every citizen, spreading joy throughout Wano. However, there was one cruel man known as Kurozumi Orochi, who was filled with so much greed that he was never satisfied with what he was given. He wanted to be the only one in Wano who would receive all the presents.
Before Christmas Eve twenty years ago, on the nearby island of Onigashima, Orochi performed a dark ritual and summoned the dragon of despair, Kaido. Impressed with Orochi's black heart and willing to entertain the idea of bringing misery to Wano, Kaido formed a pact with O…
Chapter 926: Hungry Hungry Hippo
It is a good thing that Luffy's capture wasn’t a huge hindrance to Kin'emon's plan. The alliance is lucky that Kaido is not being thorough. He could have ordered his subordinates to search Wano for any signs of Luffy's crew or has Kaido even thought of interrogating Luffy. The other Straw Hats must have real faith in Luffy if even Usopp can do his job calmly. I remember what a nervous wreck he was when he first heard the prospect of making Kaido an enemy. On another note, Shinobu really sucks under pressure. It's a bad sign if Nami says she is unfit for battle.
And now we're back to Udon prison. It's nice to see Luffy and Kid are getting along so well and I'm satisfied that they are being a pain to the prison guards and not the other way ar…
Chapter 925: The King And Queen Of Thanksgiving
First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to any and all American members and OP fans here. Did you enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner? I sure did. To people outside of Canada and America, it's a pity you are missing out on this great feast and holiday. However, let's get to the meat of the chapter as it's pretty loaded.
The Stuffing and Vegitables:
We start off with Perona finding out that Gecko Moria is still alive. That's right, Moria is back! As she goes to leave Mihawk and we have a cute moment between the two, Mihawk is concerned about what was discussed at the Reverie indicating that Fujitora's proposal to abandon the Warlord System may be passed or set in motion.
At Blackbeard's island, Moria has come for Absalom, but he gets tricked by va…
The Real Pirates That Inspired One Piece Characters
Some people might not know it, but there are quite a few characters in One Piece who were inspired by (and named after) real-life pirates. Whether it's someone as obvious as Blackbeard or someone random, many of the characters have historical roots that make One Piece that much more fun. In this blog post, I will explain the stories behind the series and some of the real pirates who populate One Piece. So, here we go.
- Jewelry Bonney - Bonney is named after and inspired by Anne Bonny, one of the most well-known female pirates in history. There are many tales of Anne Bonny's rebellious attitude from the time she was a teenager. At sixteen, she abandoned her father's household and married a pirate called James Bonny. During that time, she made…
Wano Country Arc Act 1 Thoughts
First of all, I'm surprised that it did not take long for Luffy to pick a fight with Kaido. I don't blame Luffy for trying, but he should know that he can not defeat the final boss so early. At least it was enjoyable watching Luffy beat the snot out of Kaido's men before this happened. I was hoping that Law would retrieve Luffy, but Hawkins got in the way and Luffy is thrown into a prison again. The good news is that Law got away and Kin'emon's plan isn't entirely ruined yet. Once again, Luffy's luck played a role. Kaido could have killed Luffy right there, but he decided that Luffy is worth keeping around and I'm sure we can all expect that he's going to regret it later. I'm certain that Luffy's experiences inside Udon prison is going to …
Chapter 923: In Soviet Russia, Dragon Rocks You
There's nothing much to say about this chapter except that we got an awesome Round 1 fight between Luffy and Kaido. This chapter was a short one with an expected ending.
Only other info we can cover are that Speed failed to protect Tama and we don't know what happened to her. Also, we don't know the fate of the Straw Hats and the Allies, but I assume they'll be saved somehow. Luffy seems to have gotten a good fight in against Kaido even if he didn't stand a chance against him. It seems that Kaido is weakened if he's drunk as enough of Luffy's punches knocked him out of his drunken stupor. What impressed me about Kaido was him mocking Luffy's declaration that he's going to become the Pirate King with a nice swing of the mace and a badass…
Chapter 922: Dunking on a Drunk Dragon
Aren't I amazing?
No, I'm totally not drunk. Everything I do is completely intentional, and is perfectly designed and executed to obliterate my enemies. I just one-shotted some of my pesky enemies in a single page. Big Mom never did that, the weakling. I can't wait until I vaporize that old hag too.
Though it really is a shame, I was hoping there might be a challenge that could kill me. That blow to the head certainly hurt, but if that's the best whoever's got then he'll probably be dead in half a chapter. A real shame. Whitebeard got to meet death, Vergo and Monet too, so why not me? Alas, I fear the Wano arc will soon be over, but such is the life of me, Kaido of the Beasts. At least it was flashy.
burps* wheres my liquor at, haven't had an…
Kin'emon's Plan in Jeopardy?
Kaido's sudden appearance in the Kuri region is what I would say horrible timing. Kin'emon already told Luffy's group not to be discovered, but Jack already has been made aware of Luffy's presence and is searching for him so Kin'emon's plan is already facing complications. And what's worse is that Kaido orders Jack to capture his enemies immediately. So basically, the Straw Hats are facing a conundrum and we already saw what Jack is capable of when it comes to his missions.
Right now, I see two choices for the Straw Hats. The first one is remain hidden even if it means letting Jack slaughter innocents and there probably won't be anything left to save in the Kuri region by the time of the Fire Festival. The second choice is fight Jack and pr…
Chapter 921: Rock The Dragon
Welcome back from the One Piece hiatus where we're given such a loaded chapter like this one. Once again, a fan theory is proven to be correct and this chapter lives up to the hype.
We begin with an explanation for the festival that's going to take place on Kaido's personal island. When Kaido, Orochi, and their men are drunk from the banquet, the Straw Hats and their allies will launch their attack and start their rebellion. However, Kinemon needs to find some allies based on the crescent moon mark on their left ankle. We also find out that Kinemon is married to O-Tsuru which is kinda unusual. Kinemon hands out the roles to the Straw Hats: Zoro and Usopp will be stationed in the capital city even though Zoro screwed up, Franky will find…
Chapter 920: Flashback lengths exactly where they are supposed to be
Surprisingly, despite Kaido contributing to the chapter page, he still did not make any reaction/review blog post. So it's another job for this lousy MF to take over. CHAP[TER] REVIEW *claps* CHAP[TER] REVIEW *claps*
I was supposed to do this review last night but it's already past 11 pm here in the Philippines. I think it's not healthy to continue posting this anymore so I decided to continue doing it this morning. I won't also be doing pun polls because this is not the way I do my comedy. The point here is that this particular flashback solved almost anything that's needed to be asked about the origins of the Kozukis. We just have to dive into the details.
So the Kozuki Family members have been named: Sukiyaki the grandpa, Oden the dad, Toki th…
Chapter 919: Back To The Future
Some major info-dumping this chapter, which is to be expected given that this is the point in the arc when we get the historical context on why the bad guys need to go down. We however also find out that there's a freakin Devil Fruit that can literally send you forward in time, and Oda cleverly closes the can of worms by clarifying that the time traveling can only be forward. Certainly begs the question of the fruit's current whereabouts if Toki is indeed deceased, but all in due time! Let's dig in shall we?
I first find it quite interesting that there appears to be some kind of door at the base of the rock formation Oden Castle rests upon. It could end up being a completely minor detail, but it piqued my curiousity nonetheless just what c…
Opinions on the Wano Arc so far
First of all, I like how the Wano Arc started, with Luffy kicking butt like nobody’s business. This is much better than how the Whole Cake Island arc started, with Luffy's stupidity putting the Sanji Retrieval Team in a food shortage crisis. After his victory over Katakuri, I don't expect anyone below the Three Disasters to be a problem for Luffy unless they have some tricky abilities like Hawkins. May as well enjoy watching Luffy win some easy fights before the next hard one comes. I'm also glad that Zoro's first appearance in this arc was him cutting down a scumbag in a badass fashion and walked away like he doesn't give a damn. Still, I hope that the Revolutionary Army's declaration of war will be shown in story and not happen off-panel…
Chapter 919: Gotta Get Back! Back To The Past!
So, last week, folks were speculating about the graves at the end of Chapter 918. A good amount of fans were split on whether Momo and Co. were ghosts or somehow traveled through time. Eventually, people were right about the time theory for now, but we'll dig deep into that later.
We start off with Tama being able to tame Speed and use her as a personal steed on the way back home, followed by the villagers thanking Luffy for giving them food. Said food was enough to keep the villagers healthy for the first time in almost forever, even if Law thinks it's wrong for a pirate to be nice. With Tama going home, we'll probably see Tenguyama along with Tama and Speed soon. Remember, Tenguyama is still waiting for someone to meet with him at hi…
918 Review and Thoughts
Decided to exclude a pun-like way to identify this blog because nothing comes to mind, but that's hardly important, anyway.
Not surprising that Luffy took down Holdem and "had his way around" Speed followed by doing something charismatic for Tama's people as thanks for her earlier help. Although I'm not sure if the average Headliner is weaker than him, he has always found his means to get out of a life-threatening situation, even though we'll more than likely to see Jack and hopefully more Beasts Pirates soon. What really surprised me was that both Tama's Devil Fruit power can be used on someone like Speed which adds light to why she was targeted in the first place other than the gorilla swordsman thing and how Speed seemed to have been a b…
Chapter 917: My Little Speed: Getting Punched In The Lion Dick Is Magic
And we're back, but hey, we got an early chapter this time. It's also reported that chapters 918 and 920 will arrive early in their weeks while chapter 919 will get a normal release.
We learn more about the Paradise Food Reserve and how the Beasts Pirates are robbing the people of Wano of healthy food and clean water. Speed finally makes her debut and she looks gorgeous, but she needs to work on her smile. The biggest concern is how long she'll last since she's a Headliner like Holdem, but we'll get to that later.
The main focus on the chapter is rescuing Tama from Holdem. After, Holdem interrogates Kiku about Shutenmaru and his gang of thieves, we get some bad news. Jack was rescued from the sea after getting wrecked by Zunisha near Z…
greetings
i havent made a blog in a while and idk what the rules even are anymore but im voicing my appreciation that people still write these from time to time. keep up the good work and smile :))
Chapter 916: One Round in the Ring to Rule Them All
Wano is undoubtedly going to be one of, if not the biggest arc in One Piece up to this point. Luffy and his allies are going after the strongest creature in the world, in one of the world's most legendary nations. And this massive-scale conflict will be triggered by...a sumo match. Who'd've thunk?
I've appreciated the ability of this arc to start small and slowly build up to the epic scale we'll eventually be on while developing Wano's rich culture, and so this sumo fight was a lot of fun for me. Just getting to watch Luffy cut loose and be himself was a nice pace that can sometimes be lost when an arc gets into the thick of things, and I think Oda was having a lot of fun with it as well. Luffy barely knows Kiku and so doesn't give a shit a…
Chapter 915: Know When To Holdem
Well, another week and another set-up chapter for another town in Wano. This time, we explore Bakura Town and learn more about our new female characters. But first, let's talk about Bellamy. It feels refreshing to see Bellamy turn things around and leave his pirate past behind. I don't usually talk about the cover stories, but I felt that I had to talk about Bellamy's developments.
We start off with Urashima's obsession with Kiku and how he wants to get her hand in marriage. He is convinced by another Smile User known as Mouseman to just take her by force no matter what. We get to see Urashima evolve as a villain and you gotta feel bad for that racoon dog.
Now we're introduced to another goofy character in the form of Holdem who's a f…
914 Review and Thoughts
Since apparently the usual reviewers haven’t written down this, I took it upon myself because I wanted to say some things while I had the time.
Apparently, there’s now a side story with the Grand Fleet. I have no idea what it’s about, or even if it might involve Bellamy by default for having Luffy’s Vivre Card as well, but it should be interesting.
Back to Wano, it’s nice to see that Ace’s one-time “Koby” is all healed up and eating well. It also appears that the Kozuki Family were even more prominent in Wano than they were before Kaido started backing the snake of a Shogun. Whether that means Shoguns were once chosen by merit, or that Wano used to have a legitimate Emperor in power before things went topsy-turvy for the place is beyond me a…
Chapter 913: The Straw That Broke The Tea Maker's Back
Dammit, I hate when a single chapter gets sandwiched between two breaks, but we have a Japanese holiday next week as all of Weekly Shonen Jump will take that week off.
So, we start off with an alright fight between 3 Supernovas and right off the bat, Luffy has his dumbass moments. First, Luffy lying about Kaido badly when Zoro told him he shouldn't have answered Hawkins' question about who runs Wano and second, Luffy not knowing how to use a sword despite Zoro wanting to use it since it's a high ranking sword. It's funny that Zoro can be foolish when he chooses to pay attention to a sword instead of the enemies. Even with this cursed sword, Luffy, and possibly the other Straw Hats, have a 19% chance to leave Wano after a month. Please …
Wil D. Magnus: OC idea
Say Hello to one of my OC's
Wil D. Magnus: Also known as Wild Magnus, he is the captain of the Wild Pirates, a group of pirates who are known for their wild and unpredictable nature. Later he is given the name ‘Dread Wolf.’. In truth they are a kindly group who would rather help people than rob them preferring to only steal or hurt those who are in a position of power and abuse their lessors. Wil in particular is a strong believer in using his strength for good and is a intelligent individual.
His physical appearance as follows. He has white hair blue accents that is long and spiked back reaching the bottom of the back of his neck. He also has two miniature dreadlocks near the front of his neck. He has big green-blue eyes, he has a very ang…
Chapter 912: A Futile Feudal Life
I'm alive! I think...
This chapter, like the last one, managed to be both full of exposition while incredibly fast-paced, so much so that I'm almost out of breath. This is exciting!
There were some pretty nice panels in this chapter. Luffy's simple declaration that Ace is dead, Tama hitting him when they're riding, the shot of Wano Wasteland...pretty captivating stuff.
The character that's the most interesting to me in all this is Hitetsu. There's so much about him that seems untapped, like the history of his clan, the person he's waiting for, how his nose seems to grow and shrink. I hope we get to see him again soon.
Luffy's reunion with Zoro was pretty charming, and it's great to see them back in action together. And now we have three Supern…
Chapter 9/11: A Wano Girl That We'll Never Forget
First of all, shame on Kaido for slacking off on last week's review, he has the even numbered chapters while I have the odd numbered chapters. Second, it was kinda hard thinking up of a 9/11 joke with the title especially when I could have used some Jet Fuel Can't Melt Steel Beams joke, but whatever. Third, let's see how long we can adapt to the new arc princess, Tama.
We start off with knowing how Sanji and Co. survived the storm as Luffy inflated himself like a Dobson drawing and had his crew jump off of him. However, that octopus from the last chapter grabbed onto Luffy and made him and the Sunny get sucked into the whirlpool. Fast forward to the present, as Luffy has survived and lost his Vivre Card from the storm. As Luffy is abo…
Chapter 910: An Appetite for "Nostalgia"
Since I'm very bad at making puns or reacting to them, I'm paging you Kaido and Ghmorello. Yo, where are you guys? I mean it should be Good Morning America the time I was supposed to post this almost 2 hours ago. This is your job, not mine! Anyway, here's my review. My personal thought to this chapter is pretty much the same way I would react to pun jokes. Meh.
As mentioned in this undone revision by Rhavkin, this type of opening happens on most arcs so this is not surprising, further supporting my claim on why this chapter is meh. Some people at One Piece Reddit says this is a normal One Piece arc opener, reminiscent of Skypiea or Fishman Island Arcs. What I think is that the hype on the previous chapters were a little too much that this chapte…
The wait
This series has been the longest thing i have ever watched and read and will continue to watch and read, but im just getting a little tired. They have so many stories needed to be concluded like luffy reunitimg with shanks and usopp seeing his dad, does luffy become a warlord, will jimbei join the straw hat pirates, and most of all will they ever get the one piece. Im sure the answers will be revealed but i feel like ive been waiting an eternity. Well nothing i can do but wait.
Also i hope they tell us gold rogers whole backstory.
Chapter 909: Welcome To Wano Country
So, we're finally here in Wano and we get to see some familiar faces for the first time in two years. So, let's see how this arc begins.
We start off with the Minks near a random village where Nekomamushi is meeting up with Marco. It seems that Marco is starting to take a Rayleigh-like appearance with the glasses as it's revealed that he was the doctor of the Whitebeard Pirates. Now serving as a village with doctor with his phoenix powers, we get a calmer side of him. It's also revealed that this village is where Whitebeard and Ace are buried and we also get into Weevil. While Weevil and Bakkin are looking for some lost Whitebeard treasure, it turns out Bakkin may have conceived a child with Whitebeard since she was on his ship 40 year…

Rebecca's lineage
Was it ever said how the unjustifiably angry people of Dressrosa learned Rebecca was a member of the Riku Family? I don't think I looked over that part. I wouldn't be surprised if Donquixote Doflamingo wanted to be a sadist even after everything that had happened, but last I checked, her Mom faked her death to avoid a scandal of marrying a criminal in secret. Can anybody fill that question for me, please?
Urouge's Strength
I am a huge fan of Urouge, along with Law and Kid. However, lets focus on Urouge for now, who has gotten the least amount of exposure. When he was first introduced he had the lowest bounty at 108,000,000 from the other Super Rookies. This could make people think that he was one of the weakest from the group; however, I always thought that he would actually be one of the strongest from the group. He is the oldest from the group, plus he hailed from a sky island. His bounty could also be this low because of him possibly having a laid back personality. Thus the marines do not see him as huge threat. Meaning that his activity in the blue seas could be fairly recent, thus his bounty might not accurately reflect his strength. I think this is fur…
Thoughts on the Reverie Arc and Expectations for the Wano Arc
First of all, I’m fine with having an arc that focuses on other people aside from the Straw Hats. Sometimes, it’s good to have a break from watching the Straw Hats causing trouble to see what else is going on in the world.
This pirate group that Garp and Hina mentioned sure is interesting. I guess this means there are still more enemies (beside the Yonko) for the Straw Hats to fight. The straw hat in the secret chamber sure was unexpected. How many more mysteries are we going to be introduced to in the future and what is this invention of Vegapunk’s that is supposed to make the Shichibukai system obsolete? Also, you don’t suppose that the fourth Road Poneglyph is hidden somewhere in the Holy Land.
I really feel sorry for Shirahoshi. She is f…
Chapter 908: Imminent, Imbalanced, Improbable Whims
Im.
The imbodiment of the World Government hype I've been building up in my 5.5 years of reading One Piece. Something unimaginable, an immense, grim, figure that held it all. It all feels so imminent, and yet, still immeasurably far. Idk why I'M imparting so much flowery poetry, I haven't slept im nearly 24 hours, but it was all worth it to see 'im.
Yeah, Kuma's been impounded and is getting impaled, Bonney continues fueling speculations and implications galore, the Revolutionaries are hoping their impudent declaration of war won't come to an impasse, the Levely is impending, yada yada yada. Someone else can write a blog about that. Let's go back to Im before I implode.
OK, actually, I don't know what else to think or imply about Im. I'm impr…
Chapter 907: Game Of Empty Thrones
Well well well, Oda sure does love Game of Thrones so much that he made a throne inspired by it, but let's get to the chapter.
We start off with Big Mom talking to Kaido of all people about who should beat Luffy as well as something that Kaido owes Big Mom to. Was it likely that Kaido was one of Big Mom's husbands? Was Kaido the father of Katakuri, Daifuku, and Oven in a way? There's also a chance of seeing Kizaru in the Wano Arc since he asked Sakazuki on whether or not he should go, but the samurai are a force to be reckon with. It's also good to see Garp being his joyful self again.
We also see Sterry being himself again as he witnesses the Empty Throne which symbolizes the peace around the world even though we don't have any peace,…

Chapter 906: What is This, a Crossover Episode?
Pretty chill chapter.
Seeing Columbus on the front cover gives me flashbacks to 2015 when she was first mentioned - I remember some of us thinking she was a generic-looking dude. Well holding off until we got confirmation really paid off this time, and she amuses me quite a bit.
The interactions between the variety of characters was fun. Shirahoshi and Rebecca may not have been too beloved in their own arcs, but their amiableness is easy to get behind here and it's funny to see characters like Dalton become fellow Luffy fangirls. I was surprised to see Sai at the wedding, since the king had initially thought the Chinjaos wouldn't be coming with him. And Wapol adds yet another scumbag to the hive, wonder how long it'll take for the likes of h…
