Since issues had been drawn to this category that had no notice before it was made would anyone have issue with it to split the images by season to help navigate? Rgilbert27 (talk) 15:16, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
This is a weak proposal as it doesn't outline the proposed changes of the project, the problem this is intended to resolve, and the reason for splitting them in this manner. Dragonus Nesha (talk) 16:12, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
When a certain number of items in a category share similar themes with another in a category then a new subcategory should be made for said categories. It does not help when most of the items in said category begin with Subject_ making navigation hard for an item. Rgilbert27 (talk) 01:58, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
Numerical order is the simplest system to navigate, and splitting that order up into chunks won't resolve the issue you have with them starting with similar names. If you're looking for a specific file, there are easier avenues, such as the Search bar.
Splitting them by season is one of the least efficient choices since the seasons vary so much in number of episodes and the episode ranges aren't readily apparent. The images themselves also don't visually differentiate by season, so a split based on seasons makes little sense. Another choice could be to divide them by arc since most the wiki's articles group episodes by arcs rather than seasons, but the arcs also aren't visually represented in the images.
