I realised that there are characters whose occupation is to be a revolutionary but they are not categorized on this one, like the Alabasta Rebel Army members or Gaburu, so what about put them into this category, and create a new one called "Revolutionary Army"? Cracker-Kun (talk) 13:59, July 16, 2020 (UTC)

Having one category be "Revolutionaries" and another "Revolutionary Army" sounds a bit confusing.

Plus, what exactly counts as a "revolutionary"? Would that include Kyros or the Samurai from the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance? KingCannon (talk) 14:04, July 16, 2020 (UTC)

No because it wasn't their occupation, Gaburu and the group or Koza were revolutionaries and rebels as actual occupation. Cracker-Kun (talk) 14:10, July 16, 2020 (UTC)

The terms "rebellion" and "rebels" are used plenty of times regarding the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance.

They're not much different from Koza and his group. Or Kyros and his Tontatta army. They all band together to fight a corrupt ruler. How do you make a distinction? KingCannon (talk) 14:16, July 16, 2020 (UTC)

It wasn't their actual occupation, Kyros and the Tontatta were Royal Guards. Cracker-Kun (talk) 15:00, July 16, 2020 (UTC)

Royal guards for who? Doflamingo? That was the king they were rebelling against.

There's no way around it. Kyros and the Tonta Corps were rebels as Riku was not a king at the time. The Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance is filled with rebels.

Not to mention that Koza and co. are not even rebels anymore. If you want to create a category, you need to lay out a clear and non-confusing distinction. KingCannon (talk) 22:43, July 16, 2020 (UTC)

Somebody is a rebel if it is on his infobox, on the infobox of Gaburu and the Alabasta Rebels they are marked as such, but I don't see that "Rebel" is on Kyros or Leo infobox. And it doesn't matter if they are now or not, it is for everybody that have ever been one. Cracker-Kun (talk) 23:17, July 16, 2020 (UTC)

That's a terrible way of doing things. Rebels are nothing more than soldiers that oppose an existing regime in order to bring a political revolution, so Kyros and the Tontatta are rebels in theory and practice since they conducted military operations against a king in order to dethrone him.

If you can provide an actual argument besides "it's on the infobox", I might be convinced, but this ain't helping. I could easily make an argument about why the Tontatta Tribe are revolutionaries as well. KingCannon (talk) 23:42, July 16, 2020 (UTC)

Idk why it is a bad argument, if it is on the infobox it means that it is a representative occupation of the character. Cracker-Kun (talk) 23:44, July 16, 2020 (UTC)

That's not how it works. I could easily change Kyros' infobox and provide my argument about why he's a revolutionary.

You're just mindlessly adhering to an infobox that could be edited by anyone while not doing any sort of critical thinking about what the info being displayed. KingCannon (talk) 23:46, July 16, 2020 (UTC)

Let's try an exercise here:

Every category page requires a description about the occupation represented in the category (unless they already have a page here to do that like, say, Scientists). For examples, "A Mayor is a man or woman who governs a municipality".

How would you describe a revolutionary category? KingCannon (talk) 23:52, July 16, 2020 (UTC)

Someone whose actual occupation is to be part of an armed resistance against an established government or leader. Not the case of Kyros or the tontatta. Cracker-Kun (talk) 02:36, July 17, 2020 (UTC)

That's exactly the case with Kyros and the Tontatta!

Same for the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance, or are you going to say the Samurai are not an armed resistance that is opposing the established shogun Orochi? What is this logic? Are you even listening to yourself? KingCannon (talk) 12:04, July 17, 2020 (UTC)
