Short Summary[]
As Luffy springs back into action with Gear 5, the Pacifistas attempt to kill Bonney and Kuma. Atlas then tells Bonney she orders the Pacifistas to help them escape, as Vegapunk secretly programmed their authority chip to follow her orders if she were in danger above that of the Five Elders. Kizaru tries to kill Kuma and Bonney, but is stopped by Luffy, to whom Vegapunk reveals to Bonney that he is Nika. Meanwhile, the new force is revealed to be the Giant Warrior Pirates, as Dorry and Broggy have come to save the Straw Hat Pirates.
Long Summary[]
Luffy finishes eating and instantly digests everything, to the shock of the Marines surrounding him. They get distracted by the cannon fire but try to maintain their composure long enough to restrain Luffy with Seastone. Fortunately, Luffy immediately goes into Gear Fifth and blows them away before they can get him.
Back with the others, Dr. Vegapunk contacts Atlas and tells her to relay a message to Bonney. Atlas does so and Bonney orders the Pacifista to not shoot them, and to instead help them escape the island. To the Marine’s and Saturn’s complete horror and shock, the Pacifista opened fire on them, becoming their enemies once again. It turns out Dr. Vegapunk was so torn up over the thought of Kuma and his clones killing Bonney that he programmed them all to obey her, and it is a level of authority that tops even the Five Elders. He also knew this secret would have dire consequences - especially for him, because Saturn impales Dr. Vegapunk with his leg for this defiance.
Bonney and Franky watch in horror as a fuming Saturn orders Kizaru to kill them all immediately. Kizaru teleports up to them and blasts everyone with light beams before creating another light sword. Coming up right in front of Kuma who was shielding Bonney, he tells the two that he will kill them with a single slash so it will not hurt. However, Luffy arrives on the scene and punches Kizaru away, saving everyone. He also turns the ground rubber so everyone lands safely.
Bonney runs to Dr. Vegapunk’s side as the Iron Giant starts stirring again. Bonney hears the sound of Luffy’s heartbeat and realizes it sounds like the tune Kuma taught her. Dr. Vegapunk tells her that he was like her at first: he did not connect the dots until he saw it himself, but he now has no doubt that Luffy is indeed the Sun God Nika. He also declares that the Buster Call is a trivial problem for Luffy now, because everyone over the world has been praying for his return for hundreds of years.
In addition, the Marines report that an insanely big ship has arrived on the northeast coast of the island and is mowing them down. It turns out to be Dorry and Brogy, who declare they have come to rescue the Straw Hats, with both giants referring to Luffy as the Sun God.
