Short Summary[]
As the Giant Warrior Pirates begin their attack, Brook and Lilith move out with the Thousand Sunny, while Jinbe heads to Zoro's position, who is stilling facing Rob Lucci. Luffy asks Bonney why she is crying, and she calls him Nika which he does not understand. Luffy then attacks Saturn, while Sanji fights Kizaru. Suddenly Devon and Augur show up, and are surprised to find Saturn, which brings them to state that their mission is now finished. On their way to leave the island, Caribou appears, and implores them to take him with.
Long Summary[]
The giants make landfall as Dorry tells Oimo and Kashii to take the others and swing around the sides, sinking any ships they see and minding the cannon fire. The two giants accept, and the crew branches off with the Marines retaliating back. Usopp sees Dorry and Brogy using a pair of binoculars and is brought to tears by the return of his old friends. Nami picks out Oimo and Kashii among the crowd and deduces they picked up the co-captains from Little Garden, which relieves Usopp as he feared he would not see them in Elbaf. Edison is surprised the Straw Hats know the duo and suspects they heard about the situation from the news that is already circulating regarding this incident.
Realizing they have come to save them, Usopp says they need to finish their preparations to leave. Brook contacts Nami and tells him that they are getting close to their position, but Lilith, knowing they still cannot stop, tells Nami to pay attention to her directions. Elsewhere, Jinbe is still heading for Zoro's position as he is still locked in combat with Lucci. The two have grown exhausted but Lucci tries to emotionally manipulate Zoro by calling him "dead weight," because the crew will not leave without him, so he should just surrender and allow his crew the chance to flee with their lives. Zoro, however, mockingly insults Lucci for thinking he is in control of this fight.
The Marines are informed that roughly thirty of their small-to-medium ships have been destroyed by the Pacifista, and one of the Vice Admirals, named Red King, orders all smaller vessels to pull back and lead with the battleships, which blast at the Pacifista as he mentions what waste it is to destroy their own weapons. Back with Luffy's group, the former asks Bonney why she is crying, and she tells him it is because she had been looking for him for so long. Luffy is confused by what she means but changes the topic to asking about her earlier punch. Bonney asks Luffy to show her how to throw a real punch like he does using Saturn, revealing to him that he harmed Dr. Vegapunk. Saturn angrily says that neither of them have a right to live, but Luffy rejects this and prepares to attack. Saturn hits back first, but Luffy endures and unleashes his Gomu Gomu no Dawn Gatling, blasting Saturn through a building.
Franky tells Bonney to start moving and Bonney tells Dr. Vegapunk that they need to leave now. Dr. Vegapunk, however, tells her that she needs to leave without him because he knows in his condition, he will die if he moves. Kizaru returns and prepares to blast them away, but Sanji deflects his laser attack with his kick. Franky is flabbergasted that Sanji could do such a thing, which he says is thanks to the power of love, prompting an equally just as surprised response from Kizaru. Everyone starts heading for the northeast while Luffy and Sanji stay to handle the Admiral, who says that after this debacle, he should at least return with their severed heads.
As for Saturn, he is confronted by Van Augur and Catarina Devon, the latter of which says how unusual it is for one of the Five Elders to be on the surface. She touches his leg and declares their mission is complete while Saturn asks what they are doing on Egghead, also saying he finds it bizarre that someone from Level 6 would be subordinate to another. Devon's response is that she considers Blackbeard to be special, which Saturn agrees with, along with his lineage, which surprises Devon that he knows. Saturn then asks what the Blackbeard Pirates want out of all of this ruckus they keep making, and Augur simply says they want the world.
Saturn tries to attack the two but Augur warps both of them away with his powers, though they do not get that far as they are still on the island. Nevertheless, the two start leaving but are approached by Caribou, who tells them that he idolizes Blackbeard and set out to sea because of him. As such, he begs them to let him meet him and join his crew.
