When Loki learns that Luffy idolizes Shanks, he reveals to him that he had similarly idolized Rocks D. Xebec long ago. Meanwhile as the Giant Warrior Pirates and Gaban fight off the MMAs, Jinbe deals with the fire around Treasure Tree Adam, saving the kids from walking into it. However, Gunko appears before them, targeting Colon.
Long Summary[]
Goldberg, Zoro, and Sanji go hunting for food in the Underworld and cross paths with a huge dinosaur called a "Groggysaurus". Goldberg uses his sentient shield, Nash, to block the beast's bite, while Sanji launches Zoro high into the air from where he decapitates the dinosaur. After they kill it, Goldberg tells the two that Groggysaurus meat is delicious, especially when it is stewed in alcohol. Sanji points out he did not bring any, but Goldberg explains there is a hunting cabin filled with useful cooking tools, and on their way back they can look for herbs. Zoro asks Goldberg why his shield is alive and if it is because of a Devil Fruit, and Goldberg reveals that Nash came to life after his father went on an expedition to kill Big Mom. In short, Nash is a Homie much like Zeus; he was surprised to find out that a Homie of his caliber was now subservient to Nami.
Back with Loki, he tells the New Giant Warrior Pirates and Luffy that he was attacked by God's Knights, which surprises them. Hajrudin ponders if this was retribution for his past rampages out at sea, but Loki refutes this, claiming if he had gotten far enough out there to run into them, he would be king of the world already. Goldberg, Zoro, and Sanji return with the kill as the other Giants ready a fire. Once the meat is cooked, Luffy tries shoving it into Loki's mouth without letting it cool off, which burns Loki and makes him ask if Luffy is trying to kill him by reopening his wounds. Though Loki does eat the meat, he has trouble doing so laying on his back, and he starts to choke because of it. Luffy quickly grabs a cup of soup that was still boiling hot, and he accidentally spills it on Loki, burning him even more. Loki demands Luffy be kept as far away from him as possible, but Gerd gives Luffy a thumbs up for what he did.
Zoro begins to think that Loki is lying about the promise he had made to Luffy. Loki clarifies he is not, but still refuses to say anything about himself, because they have not removed the last of his shackles. Still, Loki admits he understands Luffy's feelings of wanting to reunite with his idol, as he too felt that way when he was younger, though he regrets he was only just a boy at that time. In a flashback, a young Loki wanted to join the crew of the Rocks Pirates, but Rocks refused to let him join. Loki even challenged Rocks to a fight only to get beaten badly. In the present, Loki laments he was born in the wrong era.
In the Sun World, Dorry and Brogy are doing their best to fend off the attacking Draugr and ghost MMAs. Gaban attacks one of them resembling Loki and easily defeats it, saying that he is glad these creatures are just children's nightmares, thinking if the kids met the real Loki they might actually be stronger. Gaban then senses the God's Knights presence and says if Elbaph is no longer safe, then the world is truly coming to an end. As for the firefighting team, the Giants are unable to put out the fire because of how huge it is. Saul, who had defeated the Fenrir MMA, asks the firefighters to pick up the pace because the children are almost at the flames. Gunko and Sommers watch and the latter asks the former if the children will wake up when they start burning; Gunko says they will wake up and cry for their parents before burning to ash, prompting Sommers to laugh.
Ultimately the firefighters are unable to extinguish the flames on time and the children start walking into the fire, with Saul chasing after them. All of a sudden, Jinbe uses a move called Umigumo Ipponzeoi to hurl a huge amount of sea clouds at the fire, successfully extinguishing it. Though the children are safe for now, they are still following Gunko's arrow. The Giant Warrior Pirates praise the firefighter squad for putting the fire out, even though the fighters knew it was not them. Robin suspects that Jinbe is close by as he gets back on board Colon's ship without anyone seeing him. Colon tells the Straw Hats that everyone at school dislikes him but that does not mean he will not help them when they are in need.
Just then, Gunko appears on the bow of the ship, musing how the school is not the only place to find a child as perky as Colon.
