Short Summary[]

The God's Knights select one of the giant children Ronja to be killed unless Jarul gives in to their demands. While Franky, Ripley and the Giant Warrior Pirates split into two groups to deal with the MMA's and saving the children, Robin confronts Sommers alone. Using one of her clones, Robin manages to force Sommers to fall into the Underworld. As Jarul reluctantly orders Ange to burn down the school and library, Sommers returns and overpowers Robin, before Gaban arrives and attacks Sommers, causing him to lose an arm.

Long Summary[]

One of the children, Ronja, is separated from the group as she begins to walk on an arrow leading off the branch. At first, Ronja tried not to make a big deal out of it until she sees just how long the fall will be. She stops moving as Gunko, who had moved to the children's location, reports that the first child they will kill to get the Giants to fall in line is ready. Sommers tells Gunko to make it so all of Elbaph can hear Ronja's voice as he adds should the Giants not make a decision within the next thirty seconds, Ronja will fall to the Underworld to her death. Once again, Sommers demands that Jarul order the school and library to be destroyed.

The other giants tell Jarul he cannot destroy the school, because the library contains the words of people from a thousand years of history. However, others argue that the children's lives are more important, while others say the biggest problem is whether or not they will comply with the God's Knight's demands and become the World Government's servants. As they all start begging for help, Robin decides to confront Sommers even though she knows she cannot do any lasting damage to him, but she finds herself unable to contain her emotions. Nami is outraged that the knights would go so far as to kill children claiming the world's worst criminals would not stoop that low, but her words are lost on Sommer's arrogant mind. Ripley, Dorry, and Brogy decide to split up to both take down the MMAs and rescue the children as Sommers continues saying when they burn the library, they are to leave the books in it too as they want to destroy their history and culture completely.

Robin attacks Sommers with Cien Fleur: Craspedia, which draws blood from him as she then restrains him with four arms to break his back. The Straw Hats cheer at first until Sommers fixes himself while telling Elbaph they have twenty seconds left. Robin then jumps onto Sommers and throws the both of them off the branch, telling him that while she is aware he is immortal and has Devil Fruit powers, she figures if she gets him far away enough, the children will no longer be surrounded by his invisible thorns. Sommers commends Robin for her clever thinking as he stabs her with his thorns, only to discover it was a copy and that he had been deceived.

The real Robin went to work trying to cut Gunko's arrows, but finds the knife cannot cut it, meaning they need to take Gunko down to break free. On top of that, Sommers saves himself using his powers and announces there are only ten seconds left as Gunko demands Ronja say something. Ronja tells Jarul that she loves school because it is where her friends are and she also loves the library, and one thing she has learned from school is to not cause trouble for other people and make them upset. Therefore, if they have to burn the school and library just to keep her from falling, she would rather fall to not make everyone sad, and she tells Jarul she will be okay since she is a lucky girl, even though she is crying. Still, Jarul orders Ange to burn the school and library, which she regretfully agrees to.

Robin is brought to tears just as Sommers returns and restrains her with his powers. Just as he is about to finish her off, his right arm gets cut off, and to his surprise, it does not regenerate. The culprit turns out to be Gaban, who Sommers recognizes just as Gaban deals a devastating slash across his chest with a look of pure fury on his face.
