Short Summary

Arlong is taking a tribute for every adult and child on the island. Bell-mère can not pay for her and her two daughters but she rather sacrifices herself than denying she has children.

Long Summary

In order to stay alive, every villagers has to pay 100,000 and 50,000 more per children to Arlong Pirates. Everyone in Cocoyasi Village was able to pay when the pirates notice Bell-mère's isolated house. Genzo knows very well that she can not afford such a high price and ask her two kids to hide and flee. When the Fishmen arrive at Bellemere's house, she tries to attack them, but is no match against their brute force. When Genzo tell her the situation, she gives Arlong 100,000. But, while they are about to leave, she tells them that this money is for her 2 daughters. She can not abandon them and after saying her love to the two kids who run towards her crying, she accepts her fate.
