The Chuni Chuni no Mi is a non-canon Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to "tune" abilities and powers, making the user a Tuning Human (チューニング人間, Chūningu Ningen?). It was eaten by Yehudi.[1]
Etymology[]
- "Chuni" is derived from chūningu (チューニング?), the Japanese way of pronouncing the word "tuning".
Strengths and Weaknesses[]
The main strength of this fruit is that it allows the user to tune, i.e. increase or decrease the abilities and powers of people by firing beams known as Age Age Beams (アゲアゲビーム, Age Age Bīmu?, from age meaning "increase") or Sage Sage Beams (サゲサゲビーム, Sage Sage Bīmu?, from sage meaning "decrease") In addition, it is possible to make finer and stronger adjustments by touching the target directly. The user can also adjust their own power as well as the environment.[1]
No weaknesses are known outside the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.[1]
Usage[]
Yehudi uses this ability to increase the strength of himself and his allies and decrease the power of his opponents.[1]
Techniques[]
- Gokigen Tuning (ゴキゲンチューニング, Gokigen Chūningu?): A technique that enhances strength.[1] Gokigen (ご機嫌?) means "in good spirits" in Japanese.
- Gennari Tuning (ゲンナリチューニング, Gennari Chūningu?): A technique that randomly limits the opponent's abilities.[1] Gennari (げんなり ?) means "worn out" or "dispirited" in Japanese.
