Cibalero[2] was the second generation Water Colossus (水の巨像, Mizu no Kyozō?) on Waford. As one of the Colossi, it maintained the barrier around the Tower of Heaven.

It is a secondary antagonist of One Piece Odyssey.

Appearance[]

Cibalero was a statuesque being that appears to be mainly made of stone, with a near featureless face that is half black and half white. Its appendages and head glowed blue, and it wielded a spear seemingly made of ice.

Abilities and Powers[]

Cibalero wielded the Divine Breath's element of water. It had extreme durability, being able to take powerful hits before being defeated.

Techniques[]

  • Toketsu no Shinri (凍結の真理, Tōketsu no Shinri?, literally meaning "Frozen Truth"): Cibalero lifts its spear before stamping it onto the ground. The stamp generates a column of freezing water underneath the opponent, freezing them. This attack is localized as Freezing Truth.
  • Weapon: Frozen King (武裝·凍王?): Cibalero raises its arms, creating small circles of water in its palms. Upon the circle completing, a series of geysers shoot out from the ground to the Water Colossus' sides, circling around and under his opponents and blasting them with water.
  • Gokkan no Hyoso (極寒の氷槍, Gokkan no Hyōsō?, literally meaning "Frigid Ice Spear"): A ball of water appears in front of Cibalero's chest, before shooting out a blue laser. The laser points towards the ground in front of the Colossus and shoots forward, creating a line across the ground and causing ice to spike out of the ground, freezing everything it passes near. This attack was localized as Frost Ice King.

History[]

Past[]

Cibalero was created after the first Water Colossus was decommissioned, and was designed to be weaker to avoid potential rampages. It, along with the other second generation Colossi, were the first to be completely stable.

After it's creation, it was named so as not to be confused with the first generation Water Colossus.[2]

When Waford fell to the Blue Sea, the four second generation Colossi were each inside of their respective ruins. Due to this, Cibalero remained inside the Ice Block Ruins for the next 200 years.

One Piece Odyssey[]

After returning from the Water 7 Memoria, the Straw Hats explored the Ice Block Ruins and found Cibalero. They challenged it and defeated it, causing a multitude of the Straw Hats' ability cubes to fly out again.
