Comic strips (絵物語, emonogatari?) are illustrated stories that exist in the world. They are sometimes published in newspapers.[1][2]
Overview[]
In the world of One Piece, speech bubbles have not been invented, so traditional manga does not exist. Instead, comic strips place text and dialogue inside frames over the illustrations.[2]
Similar to comics in real life, the comic strips in One Piece sometimes include cartoony effects not normally possible in reality. However, the awakening of the Gomu Gomu no Mi enables the user to fight much like a comic strip character by granting further freedom and strength to their rubber body.[3]
List of Comic Strips[]
The following is a list of comics popular over the world.[2]
