Deacon was a resident of the island beneath Atoll before it sank. He is the primary antagonist of One Piece Premier Show 2007.[1]

AppearanceEdit

Deacon was an average-sized man with tan skin, a bald head, and an eyepatch over his left eye. He wore a dark green leather jacket with ties on the sleeves, a red vest covered in medallions, a red collar with yellow loops in it, and black fingerless gloves. He also wore brown pants and black shoes.

PersonalityEdit

Deacon was a rough man hardened by the sea. He first appeared to be greedy and forceful, taking over Atoll to find a treasure lost on the seabed beneath. In reality, he was sad and bitter over the loss of his home and his mother, whose necklace he was searching for in the underwater ruins of his home island. After he was reunited with the keepsake, he was content.

He cares greatly about his home and those related to it, as he was willing to protect a group of birds from Buggy.[1]

Abilities and PowersEdit

Deacon had authority over his subordinates, including Ox and Crown.[1]

HistoryEdit

PastEdit

Deacon was raised on an island that eventually sank underwater, and the fortress Atoll was built on top. Deacon lost his mother and her necklace in the process.[1]

One Piece Premier Show 2007Edit

Decon and his subordinates returned to Atoll and took it over by force, and he sent Ox and Crown to search for a treasure hidden on the seabed, who come across Buggy. Buggy and Deacon formed an alliance to fight the Straw Hat Pirates and rob them of the treasure, which they had found by accident. Buggy tried to use his Buggy Balls cannon on the crew, but Deacon stopped him, worried it would hurt nearby birds. The Straw Hat Pirates attacked Buggy, stole his limbs to make him small, and sent him flying in the air, leaving Deacon alone to face them.

Deacon noticed that Nami was holding a golden necklace, the treasure, and he realized that it had been a keepsake of his mother's. She gave it to him, but soon after, the Buggy Balls left behind exploded. Deacon was caught in the explosion, and as Atoll collapsed, Deacon disappeared into the sea with his mother's necklace in hand.[1]
