- For the former pirate captain and slave of Rosward, see Devil Dias.
Dias, sometimes called the Fisherman (海人, Ama?), is a young boy from Loguetown who temporarily joined the Straw Hat Pirates. He is the protagonist of Legend of the Rainbow Island.[1]
He was the carrier of the Fisherman's Emblem, one of three emblems needed to unseal the Rainbow Eye.

Legend of the Rainbow Island[]
Leaving Loguetown[]
One morning, Dias had a dream about Rainbow Island before his boss woke him up to go to Loguetown's harbor to sell their product. After arriving in the harbor, Chip and Mini approached him and demanded they give him food. The Straw Hat Pirates came to Dias' rescue and beat the pirates up. After brief introductions, Dias offered to show them around town, eventually ending at a local tavern. At the tavern, Dias had a meal with the crew where they talked about their dreams and the pirates offered to teach Dias how to fight. They agreed to stay in a hotel for a night, after which Dias would take them to see Gol D. Roger's execution platform the next day. Dias went home and went to bed, thinking about how the Straw Hat Pirates believed in Rainbow Island and him before falling asleep.
Dias woke up at noon and rushed off to meet Luffy and the others. On his way, he ran into two pirates, Garride and Kaabo, who were threatening Atoli. His Fisherman's Emblem started to glow, prompting Atoli to beg him for help. When the pirates warned Dias to back down, Dias threw his boomerang at Kaabo, hitting him. Having underestimated Dias, Garride and Kaabo briefly retreated, while Dias ran with Atoli to his home.
At Dias' home, he and Atoli introduced themselves to each other before their pendants started glowing. When the pendants fit together perfectly, Atoli asked Dias about where he got the Fisherman's Emblem. She told him not to display it or ask any questions, confusing Dias, but before he could ask a question, Kaabo and Garride arrived at his door. Kaabo gave them five seconds to come out peacefully, but Garride kicked down the door and entered after two seconds. The pirates quickly noticed Dias' Fisherman's Emblem, demanding now that the children come with them. Dias fought back and opened up an opportunity for them to escape to the execution platform, where he met up with the Straw Hat Pirates.
At the execution platform, Dias and Atoli witnessed Luffy's near execution at the hands of Buggy. However, the platform was struck by lightning right before Luffy could be killed. Dias, Atoli, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji then ran to the harbor, but they were intercepted by Smoker and the Marines. They defeated the Marine soldiers, and when Smoker tried to challenge them himself, he was forced to leave to take care of Buggy and Alvida. Dias and his companions proceeded to the Going Merry, but Garride and Kaabo arrived to block their path. When the pirates threatened to use force against the children, Dias and Luffy fought back. Dias and the others defeated the two pirates, who were overwhelmed and retreated. Nami and Usopp ordered Luffy and the others to get onto the ship before a storm came, and Dias and Atoli decided to trust them and accompany them out to sea. Dias joined the crew and they, along with Atoli, sailed off to the Grand Line.
Embarking on a Journey[]
After sailing through Reverse Mountain, the pirates ran into Laboon, and were split up; Luffy ended up on a small outcropping next to the whale, while the other four Straw Hats were eaten by him.

After recovering from their fall, Atoli found an entrance on the whale's back, which the three of them entered. Inside, they found a cave-like area, with patrolling fish-men; upon meeting them, the two children were recognized, and the fish-men revealed they worked for a member of the Drayke Pirates named Harry. They tried to take their emblems, but were defeated by the three pirates; in retaliation, one of the fish-men tried to kidnap Atoli, but was pushed back by Dias and retreated. Outside, Laboon started moving, causing the inside of his body to tilt and the three pirates to fall deeper into his, where they met the rest of the crew.
- Following the other Straw Hats
Landing on an island inside the whale, they found an old man talking to a fish-man. Upon seeing Dias and Atoli, the fish-man recognized them, and revealed that he worked for a member of the Drayke Pirates named Harry. He tried to take their emblems, but was defeated by the Straw Hats. In retaliation, the fish-man tried to kidnap Atoli, but was pushed back by Dias and retreated. Crocus, the old man, then explained his house inside Laboon, before the fish-man's group began attacking the whale in revenge. The pirates and Crocus moved to a new part of Laboon to try and stop them, where they ran into Luffy, who had found an entrance.
- End of player choice.
With the crew reunited, they agreed to defeat the fish-men on Crocus' behalf, in exchange for easy passage back outside. The pirates traveled to the fish-men's hideout in Laboon, where they easily defeated the fish-men. Upon questioning, they learned that they were simply hired hands, and Harry was absent; however, as they were leaving, they ran into Harry himself, who ordered them to hand over Dias and Atoli. The Straw Hats refused, and fought Harry, pushing him back until he retreated from Laboon.
Having defeated the fish-men, Dias and the crew returned to Crocus, and asked him to fulfill his end of the bargain. They were interrupted by Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday, however, who revealed they wanted to kill Laboon and use him as food for their town. Upon seeing Dias' and Atoli's emblems, they also revealed that they had been hired to find them, and attacked the Straw Hats, but were quickly defeated. During the combat, Crocus blocked one of Mr. 9's gunshots from hitting Laboon, causing the Fisherman's Emblem to mysteriously glow.
After Crocus explained Log Poses to the Straw Hats, Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday asked for passage back to Whisky Peak, promising to give them an Eternal Pose to Silver Arrow Island if they agreed. Atoli decided to believe them, and the pirates brought the duo to the island. While they sailed, Atoli explained the Fisherman's Emblem glowing, revealing that Dias had discovered a hint to one of the Quest Words.
Upon reaching the island, Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday escaped, and the Straw Hats landed in the port. They were greeted by Igarappoi, and joined a party in town. Later that night, Atoli woke up Dias, informing him that Zoro had gone missing and everyone else was asleep. The two kids began looking for the swordsman, and overheard Igarappoi, Mr. 9, and Miss Wednesday talking. They learned that they were a group of bounty hunters who had drugged the Straw Hats and were intent on kidnapping the two kids. However, they were interrupted by Zoro, who had known the party was a trap the whole time. He revealed them to be agents of Baroque Works, and with Dias' help, quickly defeated them. During the battle, the Fisherman's Emblem glowed again, indicating a second hint had been found.
Upon defeating the agents, they were attacked by Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine, who also attempted to kidnap the two children. They revealed that Miss Wednesday was actually Nefertari Vivi, princess of the Arabasta Kingdom, and began chasing her down. During the chase, Igarappoi, actually Igaram, made a deal with Nami; in exchange for Zoro saving the princess, he agreed to give the Straw Hats 1,000,000,000 and an Eternal Pose to Silver Arrow Island. While Zoro initially refused this deal, he was convinced by Atoli, and he, Dias, and Atoli followed the runaway agents.
When they reached them, they watched as Mr. 9 protected Vivi from one of Mr. 5's attacks, causing the Fisherman's Emblem to glow blue; a sign they had found a third hint. Resolving to decode it later, the pirates attacked the agents, defeating them and saving Vivi. With the agents gone, Dias asked Vivi for the Eternal Pose; however, she explained that she'd dropped it during the chase, and it had shattered. When asked for the money reward by Nami, she revealed that her country was in the midst of civil war, and could not pay it. As they talked, Igaram revealed that the other agents had learned of Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine's loss, and sacrificed himself so that the Straw Hats and Vivi could escape the island. During their escape, they ran into Miss All-Sunday, who gave them an Eternal Pose to Silver Arrow Island, interested to see if they would truly find Rainbow Island.
Upon reaching the island, the pirates were greeted by Byron, and visited Atoli's home. They went down to her family's archives, reading up on Rainbow Island. After they learned all they could, the pirates and Byron split up to perform various tasks: Vivi and Usopp went to the library to learn more, Sanji and Luffy went to hunt wild boar to eat, Nami and Zoro went to move the Going Merry due to an upcoming storm, and Byron and Atoli went to set up a place for everyone to stay.

The trio entered the forest, but instead of finding boars as Byron had claimed, they were attacked by bears. They managed to quickly defeat them, and as they continued to explore, they discussed Byron's suspicious actions. Suddenly, they heard a gunshot from elsewhere on the island, concluding it was Byron and that Atoli was in danger and running back to town.
- Following Vivi and Usopp
The trio reached the library, where they found a group of pirates. Upon questioning, they realized they were members of the Drayke Pirates, and the two groups clashed, with the Straw Hat trio emerging victorious. They then entered the library, but were unable to find any new information, and decided to return to the village. When they left, however, they found a group of villagers berating them for destroying the island. After explaining they weren't members of the Drayke Pirates, the islanders calmed down, and revealed that they had been hiding out on the island, left behind when everyone else evacuated. They asked about Atoli's safety, and the Straw Hats explained that she was in the village with Byron; to their shock, however, the islanders explained that Byron died during the raid. Concluding the Byron they met must have been an imposter, they began heading back to the village, hearing a gunshot along the way.
- Following Nami and Zoro
The trio returned to the Merry, and began bringing it closer to the island. However, they ran into another ship, which suddenly fired on them. Confused, the Straw Hats docked on the island, where they found a group of Drayke Pirates, though they initially claimed to be Black Cat Pirates under Kuro. After defeating them, the Straw Hat trio concluded that they must have been waiting to trap them, and rushed back to the town, suspicious of Byron.
- End of player choice.
Reaching the village, they found Byron and Atoli. Byron revealed he was actually Pesca, first mate of the Drayke Pirates, and left a group of pirates behind as he kidnapped Atoli and retreated. After defeating the pirates Pesca left behind, they were rejoined by the rest of the Straw Hats, and the pirates went to save Atoli.
Upon arriving at the coast, they found the Drayke Pirates talking about Pesca's successful infiltration. They attempted to hold Atoli hostage, ordering Dias to give them the Fisherman's Emblem, but he refused. The two pirate groups then began to fight, with Pesca calling for backup from Dolce and Reira. The trio of pirates managed to slow down the Straw Hats long enough for the Drayke Pirates to escape, and the Straw Hats returned to the Going Merry, intent on giving chase.
The Hunt For Ryuumonkou[]
With Atoli kidnapped by pirates, Dias contemplated remaining with the Straw Hats, but ultimately decided they're good pirates. The crew then traveled to Royal Sun Island to retrieve the Emperor Carrot. Upon reaching the island, they saw a group of pirates harassing a kid, and beat them up to make them leave. Introducing himself as Blow, the boy thanked them for their help, and the Straw Hats offered to escort him home, bringing them all to Round Village. As thanks for saving their son, Blow's parents offered the Straw Hats a place to sleep for the night, which they accepted. During their stay, the pirates also learned about Eldora Cave, which may contain Emperor Carrots, and the Royal Combat, of which the prize is related to Rainbow Island.
The next morning, the Straw Hats were woken up by someone bursting into the house. He revealed that Regas, another town on the island, was under attack by a mob. Wanting to help, the Straw Hats split up; Sanji prepared their food, Vivi returned to the Merry as backup, Nami and Usopp visited Eldora Cave to search for the Emperor Carrot, and Luffy, Zoro, and Dias headed to Regas to save the villagers.
- The following section is affected by player choice: Dias can pick Luffy or Zoro to travel with, while the other will wait.
Dias and one of the pirates traveled to Regas to fight off the mob, while the other Straw Hat went to register for the Royal Combat, waiting for their partner. When they arrived, they found Win and Rose's thugs fighting Mitt's men, and helped to fight off the thug; then, they challenged Win and Rose themselves, swiftly defeating them. As punishment, they told the duo to leave the island, and they agreed to follow their orders. With the thugs gone, Dias and his companion traveled to the Colosseum, reuniting with the other member.
- End of player choice.
The group participated in the tournament, winning their first match and intentionally losing to Kaabo and Garride in the finals. The tournament participants were then brought to see King Fist, to personally receive their prizes. Upon seeing the Straw Hats win the Emperor Carrot, the two Drayke Pirates members realized they had lost on purpose, and angrily stormed out. With just the Straw Hats left, King Fist began to give a speech, but he was interrupted by Dias, who informed him of the dangers on the island caused by the tournament's fighters. Fist initially tried to deny any danger, but upon Luffy's insistance, agreed to follow Dias' advice and shut down the tournament.
With the formalities over, the three Straw Hats returned to the Merry, where they found the rest of the crew. They informed them that they managed to get an Emperor Carrot, to Nami's relief, as her and Usopp didn't find any, and they traveled to Great Ground.
Upon reaching Great Ground, the Straw Hats split into three groups: Luffy and Zoro went to explore the island, Sanji and Vivi went to look for Dokudamin, and Nami, Usopp, and Dias went to look for Dokudamin along the shoreline. After a sudden earthquake, the trio ran into a woman and her pet turtle, who introduced herself as Maya. She explained that her turtle was one of a set of triplets, though the other two hadn't hatched yet, and asked if they needed help. They asked her about the Dokudamin, and she led them to Cola Village to ask her grandfather.
Maya's grandfather told the trio that Dokudamin could be found in a shrine inside the northern forest, but warned them that Great Ground wouldn't allow them to access it. Confused, the pirates resolved to try anyways, and entered the forest to follow the elderly man's instructions. Eventually, they entered a cave, and heard loud rumbling above them. Worried, they rushed through the cave, exiting the other side to find a giant turtle. Next to it were two eggs and the remains of a cracked shell of a third, resting on Dokudamin. Realizing the giant turtle was protecting its eggs and, by proxy, the Dokudamin, they attempted to sneak closer, but concluded they were unable to and returned to Cola Village to speak with the elder again.
When they returned, they asked the elder about the turtle, and he explained that not even the islanders can get close to the giant turtle's eggs. Only Maya, who can speak to the giant turtle, can, so he told them to go ask her if they wanted to get the Dokudamin. The trio found her in the village, but when asked, Maya said she was too busy and she might be able to the next day. She offered them to sleep in the village in the meantime, which they accepted. They returned to her grandfather's house, and after agreeing to help around the village, asked if he knew what Maya may have been doing that she couldn't help them. He explained that he didn't know, but had seen her talking to two strange men that morning.
The next day, the three Straw Hats woke up at noon, with Maya absent. Her grandfather explained that she was visiting the shrine, as she liked to talk to the turtle every day. The trio headed into the forest to find her, and ran into her on the way, being badgered by Reira and Harry. The two pirate groups fought, and after the Drayke Pirates retreated, Maya questioned the Straw Hats, pointing out that both groups are pirates. However, Nami explained why they needed the Dokudamin, including Atoli's kidnapping and the story of the Rainbow Eye. Maya agreed that they could have the Dokudamin, but explained that not even she could get it; while she could communicate with the giant turtle, it still wouldn't let her near its eggs. Unable to retrieve the herb, they returned to the village, intent on thinking of a solution or waiting until the eggs hatched.
The next day, the Straw Hats were woken up to screams, and ran outside. They discovered Reira and Harry poisoning the village's well to force Maya to listen to them, and decided to split up; Usopp went down to the beach to make sure Maya was safe, and Nami followed the two pirates into the forest to see what they were planning.

Nami and Dias headed into the forest, retracing their steps to the giant turtle's shrine. When they got to the cave, however, they were attacked by members of the Drayke Pirates, and were forced to fight them off. When they reached the shrine, they found Maya already there, preparing to try and take the Dokudamin. Nami convinced her to stop, and promised to help her fight off the Drayke Pirates; as she reassured Maya, Usopp joined them, injured. He revealed that he had brought the baby turtle but was being followed by Reira and Harry, who entered close behind him.
- Following Usopp
Usopp and Dias headed back to the shore, returning to where they first met Maya. When they got there, however, they only saw her pet turtle. As they questioned why it was there alone, Reira and Harry suddenly appeared behind them, demanding they hand it over. After a short argument, the two Straw Hats ran to the forest, planning to meet back up with Nami. When they reached the shrine, they found Nami and Maya already there, and were soon followed by Reira and Harry
- End of player choice.
The two Drayke Pirates members ordered Maya to get them the Dokudamin, but the Straw Hats intervened, beating them once again. Enraged, the two pirates set off an explosion, causing Harry's needles to shatter the two eggs. Suddenly, a large earthquake shook the island, and Maya explained that Great Ground was built atop the back of a Sea King, who was evidently angered by the explosion. Scared, the two pirates ran off the island, calming down Great Ground. After Usopp noticed that the baby turtles had hatched safely, Maya thanked the Straw Hats for their help, and offered them the Dokudamin, as the giant turtle no longer needed it.
The four of them returned to the village, where they reunited with the other Straw Hats. The next morning, they left the island, setting sail for Festa Circle, the location of the final necessary herb.
Upon reaching Festa Circle, the Straw Hats were immediately distracted by the various festivities around them, and Dias was left alone at the port. Exploring the festival, he found Vivi, and the two of them stopped a woman from bothering Pasta. She offered to show them around the festival, and informed them of the Miss Festa Contest. They asked her about Doriano, and she speculated the king might have some, recommending that Vivi enter the contest so she could meet him to ask. After some convincing, Vivi agreed to enter the contest, and they promised to return to Pasta's stand the following day.
Wanting to tell the rest of the crew about their agreement, Vivi and Dias found Sanji helping at Josephine's food stall. They watched as Sanji offered food to Torta and had his knife stolen, and helped chase him down. When Sanji agreed to participate in the cooking contest, Vivi pointed out that she had also agreed to enter a contest, and they agreed to discuss what to do with their crewmates.
The trio returned to the Going Merry, but found that the other Straw Hats were still exploring the festival. Deciding to plan for the next day, the two Straw Hats asked Dias who he wanted to join, figuring the king could be present at either.
- The following section is affected by player choice: Dias can go to either contest.
- Joining Vivi
Vivi and Dias headed back to the festival area, where they met up with Pasta. After confirming that Vivi didn't have her own dress to wear, Pasta brought them to various stalls to find one to buy, but they were unable to find any for sale; at the various stalls, they heard rumors that pirates were involved in the contest, and stalls either didn't want to participate or had been panic-bought out. Needing a dress, Vivi asked if Pasta had any of her mother's old ones, and Pasta agreed to lend her the only one she had.
When they got to Pasta's house, Vivi tried on her mother's old dress, noting that it was the outfit of an Arabastan dancing girl. After confirming it fit her, they decided to get an accessory, traveling to Corno Forest to pick flowers. After reaching the flower field in the forest, the trio picked flowers to use, then made accessories overnight.
The next morning, as they prepared to leave the forest, the trio were ambushed by a group of bears, and had to fight them off. Immediately afterwards, they ran into a group of Drayke Pirates underlings who were specifically targeting Vivi. After defeating them, Vivi questioned them, and discovered the Dolce was participating the pageant and had ordered her subordinates to get rid of the other contestants.
Knowing this, they rushed to Festa Castle, the site of the pageant. There, they ran into Sanji, who was waiting to watch the pageant. With the only two contestants present, the contest began, and Dias and Sanji watched while foiling the traps Dolce set for Vivi. Ultimately, Vivi won the contest, and Dias watched as the king gave his congratulatory speech.
However, during his speech, the king suddenly recognized Vivi, calling attention to her being the princess of Arabasta. This surprised and angered Pasta, who believed that her and Vivi could relate to each other, and she ran away, crying. Dias convinced Vivi to follow after her and explain, and they left the contest, with the king promising to let them get their reward later.
After Pasta ran out of the pageant, Pesca kidnapped her, holding her hostage in exchange for the Fisherman's Emblem. Instead, Vivi offered the Doriano, but they refused, and she prepared to fight.
Inspired by Vivi's willingness to risk her life, Pasta fought back against Pesca and Dolce, managing to break free. She ran behind Vivi, and Sanji and Dias ran between them, shielding her. With no hostage left, the two pirate groups began fighting, and the Drayke Pirates members were quickly defeated. However, during the combat, their subordinates had snuck into the garden and stolen Doriano, so they retreated. As they left, they pointed out that they now knew the locations of all three herbs, and could go back and get them whenever they needed to. They also revealed that they had decoded the location of Rainbow Island, and Drayke was already on his way with Atoli.
No longer being able to follow them, the Straw Hat members returned to the castle, and the king invited them to his garden to get Doriano of their own.
- Joining Sanji
Sanji and Dias headed to Pepe Village, where they met up with Torta. He informed them that all their tools and ingredients would be provided at the contest except for their main ingredient, so the two pirates traveled to Mount Panakea, where Torta told them a legendary ingredient was supposed to be. On the mountain, they found giant lobsters, an ingredient that Festa Circle is famous for.
While returning to Pepe Village, they ran into a group of pirates also preparing for the cooking contest. They watched as they discarded the meat they weren't planning to use, causing Sanji to attack them out of rage. After defeating them, the duo realized they worked for the Drayke Pirates, who were also planning to enter the contest.
They returned to Pepe Village, and upon entering Torta's house, found him and his father arguing. After learning that Torta's father had been replaced as head chef, he had gotten extremely depressed, and was attempting to throw his knives out; however, Sanji convinced him otherwise, inspiring him to cook for his son. The two pirates then asked him for any notable traits about the new chef that injured him, and realized it was Pesca. Knowing this, Sanji became even more interested in the contest, wanting to beat him personally.
The next morning, Sanji and Dias awoke to find Torta had already brought their ingredient to the contest. They traveled to Festa Castle, the site of the contest, where they ran into Vivi, who had finished her beauty pageant. When they arrived, Sanji realized that all his contest-provided ingredients were inedible, having been rigged by Pesca; despite this, he made a dish with only the legendary lobster, securing victory.
With Sanji's victory complete, the three Straw Hats were invited inside the castle, where they requested Doriano as their reward. The king granted their request, giving them the third herb. However, before they could leave, they were attacked by Pesca and Dolce, who wanted to steal the Doriano for themselves. They forced them to retreat, but in their retreat, Dolce managed to steal the Doriano from Sanji. As they left, they pointed out that they now knew the locations of all three herbs, and could go back and get them whenever they needed to. They also revealed that they had decoded the location of Rainbow Island, and Drayke was already on his way with Atoli.
As the three Straw Hats lamented the loss of the Doriano, the king offered them more, and invited them into his garden.
- End of player choice.
There, they found the rest of the Straw Hats, who had all made their own ways in; Nami won a drinking contest, Zoro stopped a thief from sneaking in, Usopp impressed the king with tales of bravery, and Luffy won an eating contest. After receiving more Doriano, they held a celebration, and the Straw Hats left the island.
As they set out to sea, the Straw Hats noticed that the Fisherman's Emblem was glowing with all three swords, indicating they had, at some point, found the Quest Words. Realizing that the glow was pointing in a specific direction, they deduced it must point to Rainbow Island, and set their course for that direction.
Arrival at Rainbow Island[]
When the pirates reached the waters around Rainbow Island, they ran into Sigurd, the legendary sea serpent. In a panic, Sanji handed the Ryuumonkou over to Dias, who threw it at Sigurd, forcing it away. With the oceans now clear, the Straw Hats reached Rainbow Island, marveling at its appearance.
After landing, they immediately began looking for the Drayke Pirates and Atoli, noting camping materials left by the pirates in the island's town. They eventually made their way to the Rainbow Castle, and split up to search across it. They stumbled onto a door in the back of the throne, and after concluding it was the Rainbow Eye's seal, decided to leave and wait until Drayke returned for it.
Upon leaving the castle, they ran into the Drayke Pirates, who were joined by Atoli. She demanded that Dias hand the Fisherman's Emblem to Drayke, arguing that she was using Drayke's abilities to reclaim what was hers as the descendant of the Rainbow Island royal family. However, Dias refused, and Drayke revealed that he had made an agreement with Atoli to retrieve the Emblem. As she failed, he considered it null, and he instructed Pesca and Kaabo to take her hostage again, telling the Straw Hats he would question her for the Scripture and "accidentally" kill her at noon if they didn't bring him the Emblem. Enraged, Dias watched as they took her away, too scared for her safety to fight.
The Straw Hats returned to the Merry, and discussed what they would do. Dias told them he had a plan, and the Straw Hats decided to wait until it got closer to Drayke's deadline before they would act. However, while they distracted, Dias left alone and returned to the castle square.
After fighting his way through a group of pirates, he forced one of them to tell him how to sneak into the castle. He revealed that a cave on the eastern side of the island led to the castle, so Dias traveled there. After fighting another group of pirates, they told him to investigate the barrels inside the cave, and Dias entered.
Finding the barrels, Dias opened one, causing a lobster to run out in fear. It ran through a tunnel in the wall, and when Dias followed, he discovered it was the tunnel into the castle. After looking around, he found Drayke and Atoli in the large western room and hid in a side room. He listened as Drayke ordered Atoli to tell him the Scripture. When she refused to, Drayke got angry and ordered nearby pirates to escort her back to room, and Dias followed, defeating the guard outside and bursting into the room.
The two children happily reunited, with Atoli relieved to see him but worried for his safety. However, as they started to leave, the pirates noticed that Dias had snuck in, and chased them down. Just outside the castle, they managed to grab Atoli, and warned Dias to stay put for Drayke to arrive. Instead, Atoli reassured Dias he could beat the pirates, and he attacked them; after he beat them, the pirates warned they wouldn't be able to leave the island, but Dias and Atoli just retreated back to the Going Merry.
Just before reaching the port, the duo was ambushed by the Drayke Pirates. Dias and Atoli were immobilized by the crew's executives, and Drayke took the Fisherman's Emblem, merging the three emblems into one. He then ordered Atoli to tell him the Scripture, but she refused yet again. In response, Drayke and his subordinates began beating Dias until she gave up and finally told him. No longer needing Dias, Drayke ordered his subordinates to kill him; however, before they could do so, they were interrupted by the Straw Hats, who had sailed the Merry into the port and caused a large crash.
The Straw Hats knocked back the executives one by one, forcing Drayke and them to retreat. As they ran, Drayke promised a reward to whichever lower-ranked subordinate defeated the Straw Hats, forcing Dias and the crew to fight them off. After they quickly defeated them, Pesca convinced Drayke to retreat and get the Rainbow Eye, leaving the six executives to slow down the Straw Hats.
- The following section is affected by player choice: Dias will be inspired to keep going by the Straw Hat with whom he has the best relationship, based on optional dialogue throughout the game.
The pirates chased after the executives, first defeating Reira and Harry, then Kaabo and Garride, and finally, Pesca and Dolce. Finally in the castle, they were swarmed by pirates, forcing the Straw Hats to a standstill. However, seeing a gap, one of the Straw Hats convinces Dias to slip through with Atoli, to chase after Drayke and stop him from getting the Rainbow Eye.
The duo found Drayke in the throne room, with the sealed door open. He again tried to appeal to them, explaining that the three emblems had been passed down through the families of Rainbow Island refugees, but they refused to help him. Annoyed, he attacked them, stating he didn't even need the Rainbow Eye to kill them. However, Dias was able to defeat him, forcing him to retreat inside the open Rainbow Eye room.
From outside the room, Dias and Atoli heard Drayke claim the Rainbow Eye, followed by him yelling in fear. They rushed in, only to find Drayke possessed by the Rainbow King. He revealed that he had sealed himself in the Eye to get revenge on pirates, and decided to start with them; however, he was interrupted by the Straw Hats, and decided to meet them on the sand dunes to fight them in a more open area.
Worried about the danger he could pose, the Straw Hats rushed to the dunes, where they confronted the Rainbow King. He called out the island's moles, which surrounded Dias and knocked him down; however, with the Straw Hats and Atoli's cheering, he was able to recover. He, along with the Straw Hats, then attacked the Rainbow King directly, successfully beating him back and canceling the possession.
With the Rainbow Eye recovered, the Straw Hats congratulated Dias on achieving his dream, and asked him and Atoli what they wanted to do next. Atoli offered the Rainbow Eye to Dias to protect, when it suddenly began to speak, introducing itself to Dias. It stated that he fulfilled the three qualities of kindness, courage, and freedom, and explained that he was eligible to become the next Rainbow King. However, Dias declined, and the Straw Hats explained to the Eye that its knowledge ultimately caused more harm than good. To ensure it never falls into evil hands again, they decided to throw the Eye in the ocean, where it can be lost forever.
With the Eye gone, Atoli returned to Silver Arrow Island, and Dias decided to join her there rather than return to Loguetown. They parted ways from the Straw Hat Pirates, and Luffy offered Dias a position on the crew, should he ever want to return to being a pirate.

Trivia[]
- Dias, as the game's protagonist, can be named by the player when they create their save file. "Dias" is the default name given to the character if the player elects not to enter a name.
- During the game's final act, a possible scene of Luffy lending Dias his straw hat can be shown, with a dedicated render. During it, Dias is shown with his Fisherman's Emblem, despite Drayke having taken it prior to that scene.
