Dragon Ball Z x ONE PIECE: Battle Experience Gomu Gomu no Kamehameha With Your Voice You Can Call Me Up is a crossover TV plugin game released by Bandai as part of the Let's! TV Play series.[1] Its release commemorated the fortieth anniversary of Shonen Jump. The plugin device uses a 32bit CPU developed by Koto.[2]
Gameplay[]
Placing one sensor on each middle finger, players take control of characters from One Piece or Dragon Ball using motion controls. Dragon Ball Z x ONE PIECE: Battle Experience features a mix of up-close first-person brawling and first-person shooting with ki blasts, Luffy's extended punches, and Zoro's sword slashes.
Players select a party when entering battle, with a main "Player," an accompanying "Partner" for assistance and special combination moves, and a support character that would apply additional effects.
Unlike previous Let’s TV Play Dragon Ball games, this game is equipped with a built-in microphone for voice controls. Players can shout names of techniques like Gomu Gomu no Gatling or Kamehameha to use them in combat, or the names of their Partners like Luffy or Goku to activate a special combination technique.[1]
Game Modes[]
Dragon Ball Z x ONE PIECE: Battle Experience includes six game modes:
- Story (ストーリー, Sutōrī?): Following a series of missions, play as Luffy, Goku, and their friends to fight against various enemies from One Piece and Dragon Ball Z.
- Zoro’s Dungeon (ゾロのダンジョンだっしゅつ, Zoro no danjon dasshutsu?): Play as Zoro and cut down as many enemies as possible within a time limit.
- World Martial Arts Tournament (天下一武道会, Tenkaichibudōkai?): A tournament-style mode in which players fight against various enemies. This is modeled after the World Martial Arts Tournament from the Dragon Ball series.
- Vegeta Aerobic Camp (べジータエアロビキャンプ, Bejītaearobikyanpu?): Follow Vegeta's movements for aerobic training.
- Free Battle (フリーバトル, Furībatoru?)
