"Looming Despair! Admiral Kizaru's Depressing Mission" is the 1126th episode of the One Piece anime.
Short Summary[]
Kuma's attack on Mary Geoise the previous day is revealed to have been thwarted by Fleet Admiral Sakazuki. Meanwhile, Kizaru knocks away Luffy, which also destroys the Vegaforce-01. Before Kizaru can kill Vegapunk, Luffy returns in his Gear 5 form, which causes the nearby Iron Giant to awaken.
Long Summary[]
The previous day, Kuma climbed the Red Line and reached Mary Geoise, and though the soldiers attempted to recapture him, he continued to fight back. Suddenly, Sakazuki appeared and attacked, seeing Kuma as a threat. With Sakazuki's strong attacks, Kuma was forced to retreat, and Sakazuki remembered his time with Jewelry Bonney, where Bonney, after being captured, refused to believe Kuma volunteered to become a cyborg.
Back in the present day, the Marine fleet destroys the remaining Sea Beast Weapons and reaches the Fabiriophase. Meanwhile, Luffy enters his Gear 4: Snakeman form, attacking Kizaru, but Luffy's fast attacks are still no match for Kizaru's light speed. During the battle, Kizaru states he does not want to kill Vegapunk, but he is merely following orders. He delivers a devastating blow to Luffy, which knocks him into the Vegaforce-01, destroying it, and launches him into the Frontier Dome.
After running away from the exploding robot, Lilith mourns its destruction, but Kizaru appears. Bonney attempts to retaliate, but Kizaru avoids her attack and kicks her into the Frontier Dome. Franky then attempts to attack, but Kizaru evades the attack, travelling to the Punk Records.
In the Punk Records, Vegapunk, Edison, and Atlas finally crack the passcode. Unaware the Vegaforce-01 has been destroyed, they prepare to deactivate the barrier and escape. However, Kizaru arrives at the Punk Records, declaring the robot had been destroyed. Kizaru prepares to attack, but Luffy appears, having transformed into his Gear 5 form, and attacks. During so, the Iron Giant in the Fabiriophase below starts to awaken.
