"Kuma's Past - Better Off Dead in This World" is the 1129th episode of the One Piece anime.
Short Summary[]
Saturn easily heals from Bonney's attack, capturing her and overwhelming the rest of the group. The story of Kuma's past then begins with his birth 47 years ago, before his family's capture a few years later. 38 years ago, after his parents are murdered, a competition is held on God Valley by the World Nobles, where Kuma meets and befriends fellow slaves Ivankov and Ginny.
