"A Burning Culinary Battle? Sanji vs. The Gorgeous Chef" is the 51st episode of the One Piece anime.
Short Summary
Sanji enters a cooking contest against a woman named Five-Alarm Carmen for a fish that he has always dreamed of cooking. Meanwhile, Buggy and Alvida show up and Buggy catches Luffy when he is up at the execution platform, and Luffy is ready to be executed.
Long Summary
During a walk Sanji is met by Carmen, a woman that is sure to be the best cook of East Blue. She wants to defeat him in the cook battle that will take place that day, but Sanji is not interested.
Elsewhere Buggy's crew plots to take revenge on Luffy, but the pirates don't notice that he's right there until it's too late to attack him.
Sanji, walking in the marketplace, sees a beautiful fish and discovers that it's the prize for the cook battle, so he decides to sign up. He reaches the final without any difficulties and his last opponent is Carmen. The final starts and both cooks use all their skills. Before the winner is announced Carmen understand that she has lost and admit that Sanji is better than her.
Luffy reaches the plaza and climbs the gallows. Smoker and Buggy prepare to attack him.

- 4kids combined Japanese episode 49 with part of Japanese episode 51 to make 4Kids episode 41: "Switched Blades" aired on July 9, 2005. Then they combined part of Japanese episode 51 with part of Japanese episode 52 to make 4Kids episode 42: "Sanji Sizzles" aired on July 16, 2005.
