In Udon, Luffy and Kid continue to work. Dobon becomes angry at them for eating alot of food. The vice warden tries to attack them only to be defeated by the pair.

• In the manga, Shinobu told Nami about her fear of sharp objects while flying away. In the anime, it is before they fly.
• A scene of Dobon seeing the empty food storage is added.
• The anime shows that Luffy and Kid are able to thin themselves out by blowing out air. In the manga, they just shrink back to normal.
• When Dobon charges at Kid and Luffy, Kid was going to fight back but Luffy stops him.
• While Luffy and Kid defeat Dobon, Dobon's hippo form is lifted into the air.
