"Stop the Emperor of the Sea! Queen's Secret Plan" is the 946th episode of the One Piece anime

Short Summary

Luffy attempts to defend against Big Mom's attack, but she sends him and Hyogoro crashing into a wall. They both survived, but Big Mom continues attacking Luffy, chasing him around the Prisoner Mines.

Queen regains consciousness and he comes up with a plan to take down Big Mom. Once Luffy and Big Mom return to where they started, Queen uses a dive bomb attack and strikes her on the head. The attack appears to have failed and Big Mom regains her memories.

Anime Notes

• The anime adds the following:
  • Before Big Mom attacks Luffy, Kiku comments on his recklessness and Chopper expresses his confidence.
  • Right after Hyogoro explains about advanced Busoshoku Haki to Luffy, the following scene makes it appear that Hyogoro has died.
    • Babanuki and Daifugo are happy when they thought Hyogoro died, but are disappointed when they see that he is still alive. Kiku and Chopper are horrified when they thought the elderly man died, but are relieved to see him alive.
  • Tsunagoro jumping out of Big Mom's way and wondering who Luffy was.
  • During Big Mom's rampage, Omasa, Cho, and Yatappe also make an appearance. In the manga, they were not shown until after the Udon takeover.
  • When Kiku is about to go after Big Mom, Chopper stops her from doing so.
  • Kawamatsu commenting on Luffy turning around a terrible situation.
  • After Big Mom finds the empty oshiruko pot set up by Queen, she accuses Luffy of eating oshiruko again.
  • After getting hit in the head by Queen’s Brachio Bomber, Big Mom sees flashes of her Homies.
• After taking a hit from Big Mom, Hyogoro was shown with blood on his head in the manga.
