The Escar is the ship used by Rice Rice to sell Den-Den Company products.
Appearance[]
The Escar is a large sea snail with a front mirror. The interior has enough space for Rice Rice and a large amount of inventory to fit, and it has a hatch door to get in and out.

The Escar is a living being, exhibiting emotion and sharing Rice Rice's fear of the Straw Hat Pirates.

While on his way to deliver products, Rice Rice and the Escar got lost in a storm.
Post-Arabasta Arc[]
The Escar was fished up by Luffy, and was knocked unconscious in the process. While Rice Rice peddled his inventory to the Straw Hat Pirates, the Escar woke up, and exhibited the same fear as its' owner upon realizing they were on a pirate ship. After the realization, Rice Rice quickly entered the Escar, and the two ran from the ship.[1]

- It is unknown if the Escar is a breed of Den Den Mushi or just a kind of snail.
- Its name is a pun on escargot, the French word for "snail".
