Miucha is a shoemaker and former employee of Lebno Listchaque. She is the narrator and protagonist of One Piece novel HEROINES, Chapter 1.[1]

Appearance[]

Miucha is a slim woman with short, dark-colored hair. She wears a light-colored v-neck top, an apron with large pockets for shoe-altering tools, dark-colored slacks, and flats. She also wears small, round earrings.[1]

Personality[]

Miucha is a kind girl and was a loyal employee to Lebno Listchaque. She cares greatly about the comfort of her customers, but she often sacrificed her beliefs to maintain status and good graces with Lebno. She was not confident in herself and was dependent on the idea of being with Lebno, but the shoemaker supported herself and her ideals after Nami encouraged her to quit her job and make her own life.[1]

Miucha's dream is to make shoes that are always comfortable, no matter how long you wear them.[1]

Relationships[]

Lebno Listchaque[]

Miucha fell in love with Lebno and wanted to support him, imagining herself by his side and working diligently at his store. However, she knew that it was an ill-fated infatuation, as Lebno possessed many other women of higher status who pined for his affection. Lebno saw Miucha as too low-class for him, but he was shocked when Miucha quit and left his store. Miucha realized that she would be happier pursuing her dreams instead of a man who did not respect her.[1]

Nami[]

Miucha and Nami's relationship began as employee and customer, but Nami was quickly reminded by Miucha's appearance and demeanor of her mother, Bell-mère. Nami praised the craftswoman's delicate work and sharp abilities, encouraging her to become an independent shoemaker. Denying herself of praise, Miucha saw Nami as an untouchable beauty to which she could not compare. It was only when Nami defied Lebno by wearing Miucha's shoes and comfortable clothes at the runway show that Miucha recognized Nami's bold generosity. Miucha thanked Nami and sobbed in joy for supporting her and showing her that she could achieve her dreams.[1]

Abilities & Powers[]

Miucha possesses careful and considerate craftsmanship to make shoes that are comfortable and functional. She can modify and repair shoes, as well.[1]

History[]

Past[]

Miucha dreamed of making shoes that would never hurt people's feet and became an employee at a Lebno Listchaque store. She fell in love with the designer of the same name and owner of the brand, but she disagreed with his stance on making uncomfortable, disposable shoes for high-class crowds.[1]

One Piece novel HEROINES[]

Miucha was working at the Lebno Listchaque store when Nami came in, asking to return a pair of shoes. Miucha explained that the store had a no return policy, even if shoes had never been worn. Lebno himself came in and made an exception for Nami, asking her to participate in his runway show. He assigned Miucha to fit Nami for shoes and clothes, and during the fitting, Miucha reminded Nami of Bell-mère. Nami asked Miucha why she worked for someone else after seeing her skills, causing Miucha to accidentally snap a heel off of a shoe she was holding. Miucha revealed that she admired Lebno but was one of many interested women. Miucha continued the fitting, thinking to herself about how Lebno was pampered growing up and did not realize the plight of normal people. She also thought about how she could not be afforded the same luxuries as Nami because of the navigator's beauty.

At the venue, Miucha was happy to be in the audience rather than working backstage like she normally did. Miucha saw Lebno with a model and heard him comment about how his brand was only worth being worn by a handful of women. She realized that Lebno was corrupted by his fame and success and had given up on pride in lieu of commercialism.

As the show began, Miucha was shocked when Nami walked down the runway wearing the shoes she made and everyday clothes. Nami impressed the crowd with her natural beauty, and Miucha ran after her. Before she could, she lost her balance and realized that the Lebno brand shoes she was wearing were holding her back. She removed them and ran to the lobby, where she embraced Nami, thanking her for wearing her shoes in front of so many people. Nami encouraged her again to become independent, causing Miucha to fall to her knees and sob in appreciation. Miucha thanked Nami by giving her the keys to the Lebno Listchaque store to steal its jewelry, and the shoemaker quit her job to pursue her dream.[1]
