Well I changed her name from Crescent Moon Hunter to Young Moon Hunter. Crescent moon in Japanese is 三日月, for Pete sake it was the name of Captain Kuro's plan, as well as the title on the 4th volume. みかづき is actually a Japanese surname. Which makes me think Devon's title is actually Mikazuki Hunter. And she actually hunted down an entire family which probably got her infamy. Actually I was a bit hasty and sloppy in my translation of her name. みかづき is the phonetic spelling of 三日月, meaning crescent/new moon. But Oda uses the kanji of the Japanese surname 若月（わかづき). Now why does he do this? Probably because 三日月, is already been used as a name by Captain Kuro for his master plan, as well as the title of the 4th volume in the manga series. Now 三日月 can also mean new moon, so probably we should follow in Oda's suit and not repeat names, and give her the title New Moon Hunter.Mr.S 01:13, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

When you say she hunted down an entire family, do you mean her possible namesake, Catalina del Erauso? I don't remember Devon hunting down anyone.
