I knew OP was/is popular as hell in Japan but I never know it was that popular with schoolsgirls, When I go to Japan I'm gonna flirt with many schoolsgirls (age appropriate of course) as I can while I talk OP, lol.

Oddly enough this just might answer a question even if I didn't ask it in the first place. In 2009 I was cosplaying as Luffy in a Anime Convention in the middle of Wisconsin. There was this Japanese exchange student that was in college. She spoke broken english or engrish. Her foster parent was translating and asked to take a photo of me in cosplay. Then she asked for a picture of both of us together. Well I did it. After a conversation and learning she's from Japan I was surprised a bit.
Overall this kind of answers why this tiny Japanese girl(yeah she was tiny and skinny next me which is weird considering I'm 5'8" myself) wanted a picture with me cosplaying as Luffy. -Langland
