The voice of all things is mysterious and still unspecified phenomenon in the world of One Piece. It was first mentioned by Silvers Rayleigh when he revealed that Gol D. Roger had the ability to hear it.[1]

About

It is still unknown what exactly the voice of all things is. It seems that very few humans have the ability to hear it, the only people confirmed to be able to hear is is Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Luffy .

When being questioned about the Poneglyph by Nico Robin, Rayleigh stated that hearing the voice of all things enabled Roger to understand the meaning of the Poneglyphs as well as writing in the ancient language despite never having studied it. This indicates that the phenomenon is not limited to living creatures.

During Apis Secret and the Legendary Island Arc, Luffy was able to hear what Sennenryuu said.

During the Fishman Island Arc, it is implied that Luffy may be able hear it after being able to hear the Sea Kings while helping to lift the Noah and keeping it from destroying Fishman Island. This is proved by the Sea Kings remembering that Gol D. Roger could also hear them.

11:41, March 31, 2016 (UTC)In chapter 821 both Momonosuke and Luffy were able to hear Zunisha's voice, which noone of the rest heard. Despite Luffy being able to hear her, Momonosuke's voice somehow was the only one able to reach Zunisha. Some wonder if Momonosuke also has a touch with this ability, or if it is only limited to Zunisha.

During the Tottoland Arc, Big Mom mentioned Roger beat her in reaching Raftel after reading her Poneglyph using the Voice of All Things. She then proceeds to tell Brook she will be the next one to reach the legendary island with the help of her daughter, Charlotte Pudding. Big Mom says Pudding's third eye, which she got because she has the blood of the Three-Eye Tribe running in her veins, will lead them to Raftel if it achieves true opening. Pudding, however, dismisses this by saying she's only a half breed and there is no guarantee she will ever awaken to that power. Brook also seemed to be shocked after hearing Pudding is a "Three-Eye," implying he has at least some knowledge about this tribe. 81.28.86.234 12:41, January 26, 2017 (UTC)

Trivia

  • It is speculated that the ability to hear the voice of all things might be connected to the ability to understand the language of the Sea Kings.
