Glorious Island is a special that is a prequel to One Piece Film: Z that was initially only released on smart phones. It has since then been released with One Piece Film: Z on Blu-ray. NOTTV announced the prologue for One Piece Film Z. It was written by Eiichiro Oda.
The Straw Hat Pirates enjoy a sunny day at sea, before it is interrupted by a giant Sea Horse. After defeating the beast, the crew waits patiently for Sanji to cook it, leading into a party. This comes moments ahead of finding Z in the ocean, which leads into Film Z.

Part 1[]
On a sunny day at sea, the Straw Hat Pirates relax. In the pool attached to the side of the Thousand Sunny, Brook swims lazily in a floatation tube, while Luffy jumps around the pools rim and Nami stretches. On the ship's deck, Zoro and Chopper are taking naps. Franky mediates, and Robin observes a ladybug in the ship's flowerbeds. Sanji cooks in the kitchen, and Usopp tinkers with his machines at the kitchen table.
At the pool, Nami starts swimming and comments how Brook he shouldn't swim. Brook suggests that it feels nice for his bones as he floats by. Nami dives underwater before lifting herself out and onto the pool's edge. Brook looks at her admiringly, but Sanji gets angry and yells at him. His expression changes when he notices Nami's bathing suit and gets a nosebleed. Usopp chastises Sanji and Brook for their lecherous behavior.
From beneath the waves, a large creature approaches the Thousand Sunny. It surfaces right next to the pool, causing Nami and Usopp to panic. Luffy is amazed to see it is a giant Sea Horse. Robin finds it cute, and Chopper is terrified. The beast roars at them, scaring Brook and Nami. She grabs onto Brook and causes them both to sink slowly, to Brook's dismay and pleasure. The sea horse charges at Luffy, and Sanji demands Luffy defeat it so he can cook it. Luffy activates Gear 2 and hits the sea creature with Gomu Gomu no Jet Bazooka, sending it flying into the sky. Luffy laughs at his victory but the crew yells at him, causing him to realize he launched their meat away.
The crew activates the Sunny's propellor engine to chase after the sea horse. With everyone back on board the deck, Nami breathes a sign of relief, and Chopper tries to empty Brook's water-inflated stomach, which perplexes Usopp and Robin. The Sunny approaches the sea horse, and Sanji declares he will cook horse soup. Zoro demands good booze to go with it, causing an argument between the two. They're interrupted by Franky, who calls Zoro "Zorosuke" and suggests they can have a good party without booze, like when petals rain down without flowers. Zoro, Sanji, and Chopper are confused, and Franky suggests how nice it would be to eat horse meat under a rain of cherry petals, concluding Part 1 of the short.
Part 2[]
As the Thousand Sunny continues sailing, Chopper walks up to Nami and asks her a question. Nami is setting up a lounge chair and umbrella. She sits down to enjoy the sun, and Chopper takes a drink of his milk, falling over at how good it tastes. He offers some to Nami, but she declines, preferring orange juice instead. Sanji hears her request from afar while in the kitchen, promising to make her some. Usopp asks him what he's talking about, and Sanji explains he can hear Nami and Robin's requests from far distances. Sanji asks Usopp what he's doing, and Usopp explains that he's mixing pesticides for the garden. Sanji demands he move the experimentation outside, as Robin descends the ladder into the kitchen. A smitten Sanji offers her a drink, and Robin asks Usopp where the watering can is. Usopp shows it to her in Usopp's Factory; to her pleasant surprise, he designed it to look like a zombie.
Out on the deck of the ship, Brook tunes his guitar. Nearby, Luffy expresses his confusion over Franky's idea of an imaginary big buffet. Franky insists they can throw a party without having anything, which Zoro dismisses. Franky challenges him to imagine fries, a hamburger, and a cola, which he pretends to eat. The gesture intrigues Luffy, Chopper, Zoro, and Brook, as Franky appears to be enjoying himself immensely. Franky finishes his imaginary meal, and the rest of them praise him. He suggests that those who are pure of heart can have a vivid imagation. Luffy tries to imagine a massive piece of dinosaur before he is hit with a realization. He does a ninja pose and summons islands made of meat in his imagination. Zoro imagines a booze waterfall, and Franky imagines a burger, fries, and cola bigger than his previous imaginary one. Chopper imagines clouds of cotton candy and cow milk, before jumping into an imaginary milk-filled pool. Brook exclaims at the wonder of the daydream as a place where anything can come true, and with a strum of his guitar, he asks if he can see Nami's panties. She kicks him in the face and send shim flying across the deck.
Finally finished with the cooking, Sanji walks out of the kitchen to alert the crew. Luffy is thrilled, as he prefers real meat to its imaginary counterpart. Sanji tosses Zoro a barrel full of booze, and Luffy declares that they will have a party under a rain of cherry petals. Chopper takes the food from Sanji, and Luffy calls for Usopp to join them. Zoro requests Brook to grab the mugs. Suddenly, flower petals rain down from the upper deck, to Luffy, Chopper, Zoro, and Brook's amazement. In reality, it is Franky's making, having donned a pink outfit and hairstyle. Meanwhile, Nami continues lounging in the sun, and Sanji squeezes her some fresh orange juice. Robin walks onto the deck with her newly improved watering can, and Chopper puts on a shark-shaped hat. Franky plays a song about cherry trees and booze for the crew.
Black-and-pink images of each crew member in their battle attire flash on screen. The Marines' emblem flashes next, before it is turned upside down and pierced by a sword, transforming into the Film Z logo.
