The Gocha Gocha no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that enables the user to merge themselves with other people. It was eaten by Charlotte Newshi.[2]

Etymology

  • "Gocha Gocha" is the Japanese sound effect for mixing things up in a disorderly manner.

Strengths and Weaknesses

By merging themselves with other people, the user can grow tremendously in size, increasing their battle prowess. Inorganic objects can seemingly also be included in this fusion, as the merged decuplets, many of whom wield normal-sized scythes, carried around a massive scythe.

This fruit's weakness are the fact that it relies on others in order to activate its powers, as well as the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.[1]

Usage

With the fruit's power Charlotte Newshi is able to merge with his nine decuplet siblings. They were seen using it while fighting the Vinsmoke Family on Cacao Island.[1]

Non-Canon Techniques

  • Merge (?): The Decuplets stand in formation and Newshi activates his power so that all ten of them can combine to form a nearly giant sized warrior. So far this technique has only been named in the anime.

Trivia

  • The Gocha Gocha no Mi's abilities are similar to the Jake Jake no Mi's, as both fruits enable the fusion of multiple people.
  • The powers are similar to the fusion techniques of bobobo-bobo and dragon ball. As all three require more than one person to fuse with.
