Hakamori is a gravekeeper who tends to the graveyard east of Ogyoku Mine on Jail Island. He appears in the video game One Piece: World Seeker.[1]
Appearance[]
Hakamori is a short, hunched-over old man with tanned and wrinkly skin. He has short white hair, a full beard, and eyebrows that are so thick they shroud his eyes. He wears a green and orange vertically-striped shirt, a large light green vest over the shirt, a blue sash around his waist, beige pants, and a large hat with colors and stripes identical to those of his shirt.[1]
Personality[]
Hakamori is a caring man, being sympathetic to Jeanne's cause and telling Luffy to keep her safe.[1]
History[]
One Piece: World Seeker[]
Hakamori was with Jeanne while she paid respects at her mother's grave, and he informed her she had a visitor as Monkey D. Luffy arrived. Hakamori then helped Jeanne explain to Luffy what happened to her mother and how that impacted Jail Island. When Luffy and Jeanne headed off, Hakamori told the former to keep the latter safe.[1]
Trivia[]
- "Hakamori" means "gravekeeper" in Japanese, making his name the same as his occupation. In the original Japanese version of the game, he is called "Hakamori the Gravekeeper" (墓守のハカモリ, Hakamori no Hakamori?), while the English translation simply calls him "Gravekeeper".
