The Hyougoro Family was a yakuza group led by Hyougoro that was active in the Flower Capital of Wano Country decades ago.[1]

Symbol[]

The gang uses the kanji 豹 (hyō?, "leopard") present in Hyougoro's name as its symbol.[1]

Overview[]

Not much is known about the group overall, but its leader Hyougoro is said to have completely controlled the underworld of the Flower Capital and had clout with the four yakuza bosses of the other regions.[2] Despite this, at least one other yakuza group was active in the Flower Capital at the same time—the Kurokoma Family, whose leader Kurokoma plotted to destroy Hyougoro by luring out the Mountain God.[3]

History[]

Around 41 years ago, Kin'emon stole some money from the Hyougoro Family, causing Hyougoro to order his men to catch him and flay him alive. However, he warned them not to fight Kin'emon one-on-one as he was stronger than any of them individually.[1]

The group was disbanded after its leader Hyougoro was imprisoned 20 years ago. It was later succeeded by the Kyoshiro Family as the yakuza gang in control of the Flower Capital.[2]
