Jude is a large middle-aged man with small eyes, a large nose, thick lips, a full, green beard, and no hair. He wears an alternating green and light green striped vest over a white shirt, and has small black glasses.[2]
Personality[]
Despite acting like he doesn't care about those around him, Jude is actually a compassionate person, sacrificing his own chance at freedom to help an elderly woman he had just met. This compassion is, despite his initial claims, a known trait about him, as the other residents of Marineford Town have discovered that he's a pirate but don't report him to the Marines.[1]

Jude escaped Impel Down alongside the rest of the prisoners in the mass breakout.[2]
Marineford Arc[]
Jude was present during the Summit War of Marineford, working under Buggy with the rest of the prisoners.[2] He saved an old woman with an injured leg who was left behind during the evacuations, remaining on the island to protect her even when Buggy and the other escapees left.[1]
One Piece Odyssey[]
Jude remained in Marineford Town when he was approached by the Straw Hat Pirates. He asked them to fetch him wood and nails to make a raft, and after Franky pointed out that he would need a sail, he asked them for fabric. However, upon receiving the materials, he began to feel bad for leaving the old woman, informing the Straw Hats that she said he looked like her dead son. Ultimately, he decided to remain on Marineford and continue caring for her, using the materials to build her a bench she could use to sit outside.
