KYP is a gas that when inhaled impairs the victim as if they were drunk or otherwise intoxicated.
The Yeti Cool Brothers used bullets that contain this gas. It is an effective way for them to immobilize their opponents. It was used to knock out Zoro, Brook, and Sanji (in Nami's body).[2][3]
Because the effects of this gas simulate alcohol intoxication, targets with a high degree of alcohol tolerance (such as Zoro and Nami, whose body Sanji was inhabiting) are capable of resisting the inebriation enough to not be as immediately affected. [4]
