Kazekage is an average-sized man with long and wild light brown hair that reaches down below his waist. He wears a sleeveless pink kimono with a shuriken design on the chest, a light purple obi, and a yellow scarf. Underneath his kimono he wears yellow netting, which is seen covering his exposed arms. He is almost always seen carrying a scroll in his mouth, though was seen without it during the Fire Festival.
As a member of the Oniwabanshu, Kazekage appeared to be loyal to Kurozumi Orochi, but had no desire to retain his loyalty after the shogun's death and so was relieved when Fukurokuju pledged the Oniwabanshu's allegiance to Kaidou.
Abilities and Powers
Like the other Oniwabanshu, Kazekage possesses tremendous stealth abilities and was able to sneak up on Nico Robin with the entirety of his group. He has the ability to stand upside down on the ceiling. His specialty is "Summoning" (口寄せ,Kuchiyose?).
Kazekage wields shuriken, which he threw at Robin when the Oniwabanshu went to restrain her. He also wields a katana, which he used during the war on Onigashima.
Wano Country Arc
While Nico Robin was sneaking around Orochi Castle, Kazekage and the rest of the Orochi Oniwabanshu silently appeared behind her. On Fukurokuju's orders the group moved to restrain her, with Kazekage throwing shuriken toward her. However, the Oniwabanshu discovered that this Robin was actually a body double, and Fukurokuju sent them to the banquet hall to locate the real Robin.Daikoku eventually spotted Robin and the Oniwabanshu confronted her, but with Brook's assistance Robin began to repel them with her powers, and the intruders managed to escape from the castle.
Several days later, the Fire Festival arrived and the Oniwabanshu accompanied Kurozumi Orochi to Onigashima to celebrate with the Beasts Pirates. However, during a speech, Kaidou killed Orochi and announced his intention to assume control over Wano Country. Kaidou gave the Oniwabanshu and Mimawarigumi the choice to join him or die. Fukurokuju promptly pledged the Oniwabanshu's allegiance to him, and Kazekage and his comrades were relieved that they would not have to fight the Beasts Pirates.
